"My wife and I visited Northwood for a long weekend trip to the OC beach. We got to stay in the 3rd floor room which was one of the few rooms with a detached bath. The bed and linens were great, every room has a DVD player and TV, though we didn't end up using it. Fro the most part we stayed the nights and enjoyed the breakfasts, spending the rest of the day and evening out with friends or at the beach. Everything was incredibly well kept up, and everything felt very homey and comfortable. A puzzle was sitting out in the main room, and there are a lot of options to simply sit and relax. Breakfast was excellent, with Sunday having a crustless quiche and including home grown mint and herbs from their patio garden. The melon, berries and fruit were all incredibly fresh, and the coffee was excellent. We'll definitely come back to visit in the future."
