Ocean Manor

"When I saw we were given room 205 and there was a previous bad review of that room, I was incredibly anxious prior to our trip. The room was fine! I didn't smell anything (and I'm very sensitive to smells). I like that there were 2 rooms because my husband slept in 1, and I slept in the other (so I couldn't hear him snore!) and then our toddler got to choose who he wanted to sleep with. The one AC wasn't as cold as the other, the fridge froze most of our stuff, one lamp wasn't working, and I felt like the room itself could use a deep clean (walls, dresser, doorways)... but overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! As careful as we were not to bring sand in, we did, and it was gone after each maid service. The lady at the desk was sweet and knowledgeable, and the location could absolutely not be beat. We decided to go for a long weekend last minute in August and the room was surprisingly reasonably priced. I'm leaving this review in December now because I just looked it up again to check on rates for 2024. We're definitely looking forward to coming back and starting an OCNJ tradition with our son."

"Would stay here again! Only complaint is I never received an email when I reserved online so I wasn’t sure if it went through. When I got there I had to call a number as there was no one present. The phone was answered immediately, my reservation confirmed, and they told me where my room was. All in all a good stay!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Manor. We felt the room was very clean and nicely decorated and housekeeping was very quick to ask if we'd like the room tidied or needed more towels. You can't beat the location either. For all the amenities, and the quality of the room, they are very fairly priced. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Ocean City."

"From the moment we walked in, we were hit by an incredibly musty/moldy smell in our room Not sure if it was being pumped out of the AC or from where it was originating...but it was very unpleasant. Our room was also strangely humid, but simultaneously cold, as we had no way of changing the temperature. Maid service was okay when they showed up, which for some reason, wasn't daily, despite the request left on the door. Needless to say, everything felt damp (...our bathing suits never actually dried from day to day) and gross. The location is awesome, as you're a block from the beach, but next time I'd rather be a little further and have a nicer room."

"We had a lovely stay at Ocean Manor Inn Room 203. We went the week prior to Memorial day for a quiet getaway. The staff was friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable about the area. The room was quite large, with extra room for our bikes. The bathroom had a wonderful step-in shower. The room was clean and maintained nicely each day of our visit. We had a wonderful time and would return happily. Thanks for a nice time to relax and reboot."
