"We spent 3 nights here recently. The staff is outstanding, very helpful, friendly, and kind. Our room was a bit small and worn, but overall functional and comfortable. The room came with a coffee maker, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. Everything was very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. Our only complaint was the room was too warm for us and we eventually resorted to using the AC to cool it off. The fitness center is well equipped with free weights and multiple cardio machines. It is spacious and well ventilated. The complimentary breakfast included fresh fruit, apples, pears, bananas, and oranges. A variety of muffins, croissants and Danish were also offered, as well as coffee and tea. We found the coffee to be quite to our liking. The location is great. Close to Central Park, a short walk to MOMA, and an easy walk to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Nice diner next door. Highly recommend."

"Booked for 4 days and was a wonderful experience staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was a little small but other than that our holiday was brilliant. Only a couple mins walk from subways and bus stops to get to locations which was perfect! Only main issue we had was construction work outside our window at 6.30am which woke us up a few times"

"The hotel absolutely met my expectations. It was the cheapest in this area in December. There is no breakfast but they offer free coffee and e.g. muffins until 11 a.m. (also easy to take away). The staff was always friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned every day even when we hung out the "do not disturb" sign, they just came later when we were no longer in the room. When it is colder outside, you should dress a little warmer when sleeping. Many of the attractions are within walking distance (max 30-40 min). All in all - good place for New York Manhattan visits."

"One of the better affordable rooms in New York City. The room itself was spacious. It was not the cleanest but not super dirty either. There was a bit of mold in the washroom. The staff were really nice. They have a grab and go breakfast bar which consists of a few pastries. They're not the best but it is better than nothing. The location is quite good. It is a quick walk to the metro station."
