"This hotel is impeccable! The ambiance, the location, the room, the staff, the vibe and customer service are all the best. As a Bonvoy gold member, I was immediately upgraded, without having to ask. Every staff member I had contact with had outstanding customer service skills. You can't go wrong staying at this location."
"We booked the executive king room. The room was beautiful and we were able to see the New York City skyline. The rooftop was really nice and the music was good. Customer service was exceptional and the hotel is very nicely decorated. Super close to Chinatown, little Italy, the pier, and Brooklyn bridge. Only negative is that our room didn’t have a mini fridge or safe. Rather than that, highly recommended!"
"Had a great, albeit brief stay. New-ish property that is well done and more of an update to the concept. The rooms were spacious and modern, beds are comfortable. The property has a nice bar and breakfast area. The service and staff are attentive, friendly and professional. Check in was a breeze as was checking out. The resort fee is absolutely absurd. It is just a way to increase revenue for the property, forcing you to spend money with them. If the bar, breakfast and all of these things are good enough, they should be able to draw guests themselves without having to force guests to spend. There are many other hotels in the area that do not charge a “resort” fee. Resort fees for properties that have pools, spas, and other common amenities are common. This hotel has none of that, and is just padding their revenue."
"Not a great hotel. It's more of a shack up spot built on top of a hip hop club. The first room we were given hadn't been cleaned properly there was dirt left between the bed and the window and there was other rooms blasting music before they went out for the evening. We were given another room which was smaller and located right by the elevators so we had to deal with 4am arguments between guests who were just there to hook up in the rooms after coming back from the club. This is not the place for a family or a couple looking for a base to rest while exploring NYC. I don't think the place is managed at all it seems like a group of young kids are set loose to run the hotel and very poorly at that. I won't be back I like to sleep not party and be noticed 24/7 Negatives: - Rooms are incredibly small - difficult to even get dressed in - Very noisy hotel - Rooms are not cleaned well - The cafe in the hotel is super expensive even with a room credit - Sink is outside of the bathroom Positives - Comfortable bed - Nice shower"
"Great new hotel with amazing decor. Rooms are small, which is to be expected in NYC, but fun, with everything you need for a short stay. Bar was lively and all staff were friendly and welcoming. We stayed on the 13th floor and paid a little extra for a city skyline view. Even that high up you can still hear traffic noise, so be prepared. But if you’re doing NYC right, you will probably be too exhausted at night to care. Japanese restaurant in the basement was some of the best food I’ve eaten it years. Will definitely stay here again."
