"I was invited here on a sex date. The rooms are small but smart; the closeness of the walls and furniture provide lots of sturdy push-off points for different positions and angles. Staff made me feel welcome and unashamed as I left early. The croissant stand loved hearing me sing the rooms praises. Their croissant and coffee are exceptional and very different. I've been back since just for these, and plan to meet my date there again in 24."

"The hotel is between Soho and Tribeca, near the Canal subway station. Edwin and Nelson at the front desk are outstanding in being efficient, friendly, helpful, and polite; they speak English and Spanish. The rooms are according to the concept of the hotel, of course. Very functional and well illuminated, despite being small; impeccable cleanliness. They have a cafe with great bread and espresso, a small restaurant with good breakfasts, and a Blue Bottle cafe within the complex. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation for couples who are going to the theater or walking for a few days in NYC."

"The rooms are so absurdly tiny it’s kinda funny. Especially for the price. King bed is up against three walls so you can only access it from one side. Terrible sound proofing from the street and inside. You can easily hear other people’s conversations and when they use the bathroom, which is also very tiny. Nicely decorated though. And the bed was comfortable. The staff were great and my room was serviced every day."

"Last minute booking for one night - staff was all very helpful, especially Nelson. Kind and willing to help out. I requested a couple things for the room and the service was quick and got what we needed right away. The room is small but I actually loved it. It felt super cozy. There were 2 of us (my daughter and me) so might not be an ideal set up for others. The location is great if you’re wanting to stay downtown. The gym was small, but clean and had what I needed. We didn’t get to enjoy the public spaces or coffee shop /restaurant bc it was such a short stay, but looked great. Will definitely book again if staying downtown!"

"Pros: The rooms are well designed with a comfortable bed and nice sheets. Shower is great and the auto blinds are clutch. The location is also really great and I love how there’s a coffee shop downstairs. Cons: The rooms are very small, which means you’ll lack basic amenities like a kettle or coffee maker. You can request them, but it may not be in stock and… this is all assuming they remember your request. 80% of the time my requests go into a void and I would have to follow up repeatedly and they may not get back to me until a day or two later. I simply cannot trust the staff when they say they will handle something or call me later with an update. The cleaning staff here also don’t really clean, they’ll change towels and sheets, but won’t sweep up the floors or even wipe the surface. Restocking stuff like tissues is also a problem… For a 4 star hotel and the price, I would’ve expected better service in both the staff and cleaning. Lastly… the gym is OK. It’s aesthetically pleasing, but not really functional."
