"First let’s begin with the manager . I think his name is Sean . He’s completely rude and disrespectful. Booked 1 night for me and my wife . Checked in at 2:30 pm ( early , 3pm is check in ) so they charge you $20 extra lol to check in early SCAM city . I went up at 2:30 to the room to put my bag and then left to meet my wife at 3 at a bar to eat . We returned 4-4:30pm to the room . We were there about 2 -2.5 hours when my wife went to go shower and saw a rodent . She then freaked out and wanted to leave . We left and I emailed the Manager about what happened . He called me and asked what happened . I told him . He stated he would refund the stay “ if you agree not to write a bad review “ . I told him no problem . Deal . Today , 2 weeks later I saw the charge was still on my card . I called him and he said he did an Investigation with an exterminator ( after we vacated the room on a different day ) and they didn’t see “ signs of a rodent “ . He then stated he was not refunding me .He argued over the phone and made excuses and was being passive aggressive .. He is a liar , a scam artist and rude . The rooms are the size of a closet btw and we saw a rodent . Period full stop . I would never in my life stay here again ."
"My 2 young adult daughter’s & I recently spent 3 nights at the Chelsea Pines Inn. The location was excellent for walking The Highline, Little Island, visiting Chelsea Market, & easy access to the subway. There’s a nice little Italian restaurant on the corner, a pharmacy across the street, & a CVS. The staff were very helpful & friendly. The beds were comfortable & the room clean. The breakfast was ok with cereal, juice, & fresh bread to toast with peanut butter, Nutella, & jelly. We’ll definitely be back."
"Horrible! Manager Sean is VERY RUDE! AC broke down on our second night and they just went u to our room to removed the ac from the window and plugged in two small fans. We couldn’t sleep because of the heat and humidity on the room and when we asked them for credit Sean just justified the situation saying that other people from different rooms requested the ac to be removed from the windows because it’s was “chilly/cold” outside. The bathroom was dirty and full of mildew in every single wall. Facilities doesn’t have elevators. Again, management is -10 out of 10."
"Terrible Management. No security on site. No elevator with 5 flights of stairs. Manager Sean is very rude, verbally offensive and aggressive. Not a friendly environment what so ever. Not very safe. There are no security guards overnight. And only one employee overnight. Not really safe considering the crime statistics of the neighborhood. Seek other hotels if you can."
"We just stayed in the lower level luxury apartment. It was much larger than we had anticipated. Gave us some breathing space rather than cramming us all into a standard double room. Sleeps 5, full kitchen, dining, living area. It was perfect for our family! The apartment was clean, the chocolate chunk cookies were yummy and all the staff were helpful and friendly!"
