"Gross hair all over the shower. Clumps left in a drainer and then more on a wall. They have darker tiles so you can’t see all the disgusting hair they leave behind. It’s winter, give folks more than a sheet for a blanket. My bed sheet came off, it was too small for the mattress size. Avoid at all costs. I had to pick up someone’s gross hair to shower. I echo comments below that rooms have paper thin walls and staff is stomping around starting at 7am, super noisy. Should not call themselves Marriott."
"The location of this hotel is perfect. It is clean and quiet and You can walk or Uber anywhere. That's why we chose this hotel over the Times Square locations where it's noisy . Unfortunately, the King bed room was so small that it practically took up the entire room . Since it was cold outside we kept on the wall heater, which was noisy and suffocating because the room was so small. It was like they installed a king size bed in a sauna room. The bathroom was very tiny also. You had to go into the basement to fill your ice bucket. There was No refrigerator in the room either. In Summary, if you travel a lot like we do and are used to large , comfortable rooms the this is Not the place for you. We used our Marriott Bonvoy Points and we thought this would be a good deal. Big Mistake!"
"Great room for the price but a couple of things....the bathroom door in our room was transparent. A nice touch if you are creepily obsessed with all of the details of the person you are sharing the room with. Not so great for the rest of us. Best part, if anyone had to use the bathroom at night, the e tire room was lit up like Times Square for the duration. Otherwise, very decent place to stay for the price."
"I would have thought the hotel would have realise that with two young kids in tow, a room on the first floor, directly above the incredibly loud restaurant would not have been a good idea, but that's where they put us. Loud thumping bass until just gone midnight. Had it not been for the noise, the hotel is actually pretty good. The location is great. Rooms are neat and tidy. Although we had blood stains on our sheets, which we complained about, only to have spare sheets just handed to us by housekeeping. So that's the reason for the 2 star review."
"This was so far below the regular Marriott / Bonvoy experience that I had to write a review. This hotel was terrible on multiple fronts - in particular, the rooms and service were well below par. The front desk staff were rude, and unhelpful - I was left waiting for my room even after check-in time, and the staff refused to help to amend the reservation to tag my Bonvoy number, although I’d done so in DC with no problems just a day later. The room itself was tiny and had multiple issues - it was dark, noisy, and some bulbs had blown (despite asking for assistance, no one came to fix it). The towel racks were also on the verge of collapsing and presented a safety issue. There was loud music from nearby that disrupted sleep. Housekeeping also didn’t make up our room during our stay, strangely, and we hadn’t indicated that we wanted the rooms to be left undisturbed. In fairness, the location is decent but all in all, a terrible experience. Avoid at all costs."
