"This hotel could be so nice if it were better taken care of. It was an immediate red flag that they don’t take a credit card for deposit upon check-in. The rooms reek of smoke and our first room had cigarette burns in the furniture. The business center and fitness area downstairs actually had broken glass and ceilings caving in with insulation falling out. We were able to get moved to the seemingly recently remodeled 11th floor with no issue which had much less smoke smell, but still not perfect and still with an uncomfortable bed."
"I had a delightful experience at the hotel we chose for New Year’s. The decision to book this particular hotel was influenced by its proximity to Newark Penn Station, ensuring convenience in travel. What truly stood out was the exceptional treatment from the front desk staff—they extended respect to all guests. This courteous service added a significant positive dimension to our stay, making it a memorable and enjoyable experience."
"Good hotel, but... a terrible bathroom, the water was freezing, old furniture, the toilet was from 1920s... the air conditioner was so dusty and old, the only thing this hotel has is the location and the attention. I'd recommend it only if you're visiting for 1 night. I stayed one night and I wouldn't come back for more. I slept very well but the bed hurted a little bit my back. I liked the lamp and the sofas. Good decoration tho."
"I was excited about heading to this hotel, I needed a place that would take me to the airport on a shuttle (24x7) - the shuttle service person was excellent and helpful. But the front desk persons are needing some people skills and attention. Almost as if they were doing us a favor by allowing us to check in. I had asked before I left on this trip if I could leave my luggage for a couple of days while I headed to NYC and I got an affirmative. However, when I dropped in prior to leaving to NYC, they would not allow me to drop it, even if I would have paid extra fees. As I said, attention to service is needed."
