"I came from Philly to get a tattoo with Jun Ko (@junko.tats). She is incredible! She took my rough drawing and crafted a beautiful tattoo. She is talented, precise, warm, and a great conversationalist. Strongly recommend Jun as an artist!"
"I had to come write a review about my experience today, especially as a first timer.. all i can say is 10/10 experience all around. First off, Id like to add that I’ve reached out to many other tattoo artist in NYC, and the one person who wanted to hear my design out and actually talk to me was Pinar. (@pinarleclair) We talked for about 2-3 days, I reached out about the design I wanted, how to customize it, and placement. Within these days she helped so much and was even able to give me a quote which other tattoos artist didn’t. Other tattoo Artist simply just told me the “minimum amount” i had to pay and didn’t even get into detail with me about the design. Pinar responding to me was such a green flag. Once we talked and discussed the idea, I booked and sent a deposit feeling secured. The day off, I arrived to the tattoo shop and Pinar drew out the most BEAUTIFUL images. I was so indecisive about where I wanted my tattoo the last couple of days, I was scared I was going to enter and completely scratch the idea of what I wanted. Pinar changed my mind IMMEDIATELY. The vision I had was still intact with what she drew, it was just above and beyond. While doing the tattoo she was gentle, and quick. It came out so perfect and I’m just so obsessed with it. Once again, thanks Pinar! I’ll definitely be seeing you soon!!"
"Juan Martinez is your guy. Does a phenomenal job and is extremely professional and easy to work with. He came up with a design that needed little to no alterations. Process was smooth and I would highly recommend using him! Will be going back for sure. Tattoo healed seamlessly as well."
"It was so incredible working with Reena! I got one flash done by her and absolutely had to come back again for another. Super great vibe and such a relaxing experience. Her art is so unique and beautiful, highly recommend coming here and working with her!"
"What a great experience! Thank you to the whole staff for making my first tattoo amazing. Thanks to Cinar for the great design and helping me stay relaxed despite my nerves. Absolutely love my new tattoo! Definitely listen to their recommendations -- don't take more than 1 friend. The space is small and there just isn't a lot of room to have company around you. I think my only criticism is that I would have preferred more prep and communication about the appointment. Maybe that's just me, but I like to make sure I'm doing everything right ahead of time for such a big deal as body augmentation. They didn't confirm the appointment with me (I called them to confirm), and they didn't give much in the way of prep instructions. I did a lot of research on my own, and that's what prepared me. Again, maybe that's just personal preference. I still loved the experience and will definitely be back! A few tips: - make sure to moisturize the area for your tattoo for 1+ month ahead of time to ensure your skin is in the best shape for the tattoo. - Drink lots of water in the week prior to your tattoo. Hydration is key. - Don't drink alcohol the night before or the 72 hours after your tattoo. Alcohol is a blood thinner and can screw up your tattoo. - Don't take pain meds before the appointment, as they're blood thinners."
