"Might be the worst manicure ive ever had in nyc. the nail it's self is a weird shape, the paint job goes oddly to the cuticle and very wide shaped( let me not even mention the cuticles)it's a cute shop and the woman tried but this is terrifying. I look like i did them myself.. which defeats the point! as someone who regularly gets her nails done I know a good job and alas, was really expecting great things. The women were sweet tho!"
"If i could give a 0 stars. I’m 7 months pregnant and i just started back going to the nail salon because i can’t bend over to do it myself anymore. This place had horrible service second time around. I went today at 2:35pm on 8/23/22. If you zoom in on the bottom of my foot of the picture i provided you will see a dry cracked heel after i just finished a pedicure. I complained to the lady that was doing my pedicure and i complained to management. They said you have to pay $10 to get that off. Funny i was just there 3 weeks ago with the same foot and dead skin and the other woman that did my pedicure at that time got the dry skin off with a regular pumice which was a regular pedicure. The manager then tells me it’s $10 to medicate and get it off and that she’s sorry for the language barrier with the woman that did the pedicure. I don’t care about that lady and her language barrier. She should of got you-the manager when i started to complain. I think paying $10 was terrible to pay extra for when i just was here 3 weeks ago and the lady didn’t need to do that and my foot looked the same. This place wants to over charge you for services that are already included in a regular pedicure price. The manager didn’t care and so therefore i don’t care to write this review. This is exactly why i started to do my nails myself. Now i have to go home and use my pumice stone after i just got a pedicure due to their poor service. I’ll be putting this on TikTok because this place does not take pride in their work and just wants to upcharge you."
"I've been a customer of Hana Nails for over 10 years and it's the best! I love going and seeing people that I know from the neighborhood in the Financial District. Wonderful and relaxing. Amazing service for my manicure, pedicure, back massage and eyebrow wax. They have a great staff and lots of colors and ideas my nails. They even helped me transition back to natural nails, which look amazing!"
"TERRIBLE MANICURE & PEDICURE ! I went to get a GEL MANICURE & regular pedicure. Although the staff were nice. The whole process felt rushed. She barely used the pumice stone on my feet, leaving my feet extremely rough. Then I asked for a GEL MANICURE even pointing to the sign that said GEL MANICURE & BASIC PEDICURE $47. She gives me a basic manicure as well leave uncut cuticle on most fingers, also she didn’t even cover all of the nail with the clear polish. She rushed me under the nail dryer and I was telling her this was done incorrectly but didn’t have another 25 minutes to get the gel treatment I was looking for or to re-do this. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE. TERRIBLE SERVICE! TERRIBLE SERVICE! TERRIBLE SERVICE!"
"We’ve all been to numerous nail places in the city, and we have are go to spots, last minute spots, and desperately just need to get my nails manicured spots. So we all know what the nail spots have and lacks. This is why Hana Nails is my go to spot: Hana Nails is a no frills nail salon, that is budget friendly relative to city costs. They stand out from its competitors for these little touches they employ which enhances the quality of the experience for me. These little things are as follows: They use disposable plastic liners for the pedicures tubs. I like that-just ups the sanitary level of a pretty clean establishment for me. My pedicure comes with a quick light heel scrub. Instead of soaking your fingers in a bowl of water, Hana Nails has your hands in disposable therapy gloves…which is basically a plastic glove with some type of lotion. Post manicure comes with about a 15 second hand massage. Charging stations for cells phones. Little chocolates for those with a sweet tooth. Free wine. Though I didn’t see wine on my recent visit- maybe it’s more of a weekend thing. Most importantly I am pleased after each visit. It does not hurt that I’ve never had to endure a mani/pedi smelling the overpowering fumes that some nail salons have. They accept credit card but as most nail salons prefer you tip in cash. Which is fine for me."
