"I just wanted to write a review. Although the ambiance was great my barber did not pay attention to what I asked. I also was charged 60 dollars for a fade with a line and a beard trim. My beard was faded like I was going to a Daddy Yankee concert. First off was not pleased with my grooming service. Although it may look clean and polished but once this new growth kicks in my hairline and fade will be a disaster and I would have to start growing my hair over. I chose this place with intention as if no one will mess up my hair, the holidays are right around the way, but they did. I also wanted a shave. My barber did not use shaving lubricant only around my mustache which he bare fixed or groomed. He didn’t offer the shave I paid for and the longer I stayed on the chair the more I was burnt by the clippers as he kept plying and plowing through the grains of my hair. I still paid full price 60 + 15 dollar tip. I just needed a break. I keep looking for great barbers in JC that dont have attitudes, that listen to clients, that know how to shave, line up, and is attentive to latinos and style. Would you have paid for this? If you pay for a service as a manager you must ensure satisfaction or rectify an issue. The manager didn’t do even want to help or correct the barber’s mishap. Please save your money. If anyone knows a better spot please type it in the comments."

"I came by after work one day and decided to get a cut from Jacques. As soon as you step in there you feel the professional vibes. During the consultation not only did Jacques take the time to narrow down what I wanted but he gave me a complimentary drink and hair wash before we started. While the customer service was amazing the cut was equally just as amazing and I think it was a 10/10. On top of that, probably one out of the many barbers I had that I can actually talk to. Highly recommend !"

Not only does he explain what he is doing, he shares with you how your hair will grow out and suggests how to style it until your next appointment! I have stick straight Asian hair and Jacques leaves no missing pieces behind. I have had numerous compliments from family and friends and even other barbers who have been in the business for decades. This just goes to show the care, attention, and skill Jacques puts into every cut. The shop itself is also has a really great ambience."
