"Simply Sofrito finally opened, Yay! I went on the second day after the soft opening. The menu is still limited to a few dishes but the food was very good. We had chicken pincho, shrimp with arroz con gandules, chicharrón with yuca and beef empanada. All yummy. Looking forward to them expanding the menu!"

"Soft Open Review Limited Menu They just opened the restaurant pending their grand opening, and patience yields an amazing experience! No need to rush just sit back and relax and the food is worth the wait. I ordered the pincho kebobs in pork and they came out with a nice meaty pork belly cut almost chicharon finish to them. Paired awesome with the Garlic Cilantro sauce. I got the Permil garlic pulled pork and it was awesome, yellow rice and beans, the pork was seasoned and cooked insanely tender. For dessert we got the grava and cheese Empanadas and the sweet salty combo was awesome you get 3 with your order and 1 was filling enough. Honestly I cannot wait to come back and post another review!"

"Delicious food that is a welcome addition to the Eatontown choices. We had the garlic shrimp and pernil, which was amazing. It’s definitely a place to check out whenever you can. And you got to try the empanadas which are the best I’ve ever had!"
