"Ordered Alden Cordovan and the product was terrible which is pattern was different b/w left and right. Eventually, I just paid for restocking fee and owed shipping cost. Total $75 It was so disappointed experience."
"I asked about Alden shoes and was told that you needed an appointment to look at them by the sales woman. It was a slow weekday afternoon at the mall. There were two employees and 0 customers. I’ll spend my money elsewhere."
"I thought I could get some classy shoes for a wedding from Pelle Line, boy was I wrong. I placed an order last week, no confirmation shipping email despite a 1-2 day shipping policy. I emailed them about it. No response. I called them yesterday and they said it was no longer available but they had the size lower. The lady I spoke to said she could ship it instead and I could ship it back if they didn't fit. I get an email today saying my order was cancelled. I called them and spoke to the same lady and she said the shoes sold out and they can't hold orders. Wow. This place is a joke run by clowns. If you want a place that can reliably help you look sharp and professional, then steer clear of Pelle Line. Wish I read the other reviews earlier, gotta take the L."
"The gentleman who sold me the shoes was extremely patient and helpful. I went back to exchange the shoes since I did not wear them. I arrived and asked the manager if I could exchange the shoes and she was extremely dismissive. The manager’s response and poor customer service tarnished my experience and I will shop there again."
"Probably the worst experience I've had at a store carrying Alden. Asked if they carry any lasts close the modified last, and the women said no and that they rarely make that last anymore. Alright, so I ask the gentleman with the neck tattoo if he can help me get sized and that I'm unsure of sizing. Not that I wanted to try anything on. So we just stared at each other like P. Diddy and that contestant meme. Bro I just needed to get sized with his help and special order it because I'm a 6.5EEE or 7EE. Then I asked if they have a website and he handed me a card. Then I stake a gamble and hope I get the right size, and he nodded and said have a great day. Brain dead and clueless. I'll stick with the Manhattan shops. EDIT: adding on to respond to their reply. There was nothing racist about my review, and I did not call him neck tattoo bro. The neck tattoo was what I remembered, and he was actually more engaging than the other two. And I call everyone bro, bro. Brain dead and clueless was for the whole lot no one specific. Maybe you guys just profiled me on my way in, during, and after. We’ll leave it at that."
