"The people there were very rude. One of the employees snapped her fingers at my mother-in-law. They were so disorganized. It took a long time to get out of there as the employees were slow checking them out."

"The first time I walked into Chicos in Paramus park mall and tried a sweater on. It was a bit too loose so I wanted to order a smaller size online. I went to store customer service to ask if I can do the return in the store, just in case the smaller size doesn’t fit then I will accept the loose fitting. To my shocking, the cashier was extremely rude and impatient to answer my question! Who does she think she is?! There are a lot of stores where I can do the shopping these days! If you want business, you better improve your service! I was planning to order a sweater online but now , after having such an unpleasant experience with Chicos, why would I do business with Chicos! I will not shop at Chicos!"

"Some things never change. Walked in this small store today with my mom and grandmother, planning to shop. Zero hospitality in this store, but some things never change. Thankfully I usually shop at a different local Chico's with great staff. It's like they are maybe expecting to close and just don't care or can't be bothered. Could be an age thing since they were a lot older and may have thought I wasn't seriously thinking of purchasing a few items. Still no excuse. We walked out and I told my mom we'll visit the Chico's I shop often."

"I tried making a return and not aware of the 90 day time limit on returns, I was treated very rudely. The garment on the counter was shoved at me and I was nastily told that I couldn’t return it. All she had to do is very calmly say this is over the return policy timeline."

I've been a loyal Chico's customer for years, this brand makes 70% of my wardrobe, and it served me well when I had much more weight on me (forgiving and stylish), and when I lost much weight (formfitting and even more stylish), but my recent experience made me appreciate Chico's service much more. A few days ago my wedding ring slipped off my finger when I was shopping, I did not know where I lost my ring (a very valuable item from the material and emotional perspective), but when I called Chico's I've leaned that they found and kept my ring safe in hopes to return it.
