"We went here for their “bottomless” boozy brunch, but the waitresses almost never came to give our table service. Even when I went and found them asking for more drinks (because the mimosas come in a very tiny glass), it would take 15 minutes to get refills. It was definitely a poor experience if your goal is to drink a lot in the allotted 90 minutes. Also, I made a reservation weeks in advance, but was never informed that we’d be outside. In December! This was unexpected and I wish there would have been more clarity. The food was amazing though."
"The Malt House has one of those kitchens that's completely given up on offering good-tasting classics that stand on their own merits. They soak their food in the cheapest truffle oil on the market to make up for the sub-par recipes. You won't feel ripped off in terms of how much food you get—it's pretty standard for the area. But nobody wants a cuban sandwich or french fries that feel like they were soaked in truffle oil prior to being served. The service is okay, but it's pretty clear that the servers themselves are expected to advocate only for the interests of the owner—not the customer. I have no respect for that, and it's a cruel way to treat service industry professionals. The atmosphere is great and the menu is largely appealing on the surface. I had a really awful experience with the food and service, but there's still something there."
"I’ve been introduce to this place by one of the owners Kevin. Never had a chance to show my gratitude to this place. The food, staff, atmosphere couldn’t be better. 10/10. Came here with my friends a while back before they got flooded. As I have mentioned everything was worth it. Highly recommended. If I’m. It mistaking they will be reopening soon."
"Wonderful atmosphere, food, and service! We had the bottomless brunch and our server made sure our drinks stayed full."
"The bottom mimosa service is the best here, the staff is constantly asking or serving. Our table was outdoors, it was very hot and we were seated a little far from the fans on either sides. We were more squished in between the tables, with barely any room to move. The food really didn’t sit well with our group, the only thing we liked was the Hot 97 gauc. The crab cake Benedict was not fresh , the cake was breaded. And the salad was not fresh."
