"Under-18s only If your idea of a good night is hanging out with the young while listening to songs from your youth, then this is the bar for you. I can only hope that the college students were not bopping to our music in an ironic fashion, or uttering phrases like ‘omg, I love the oldies!’. Venue itself was good and well managed with friendly staff. It does also still hold signs of a more glamorous past, despite the Amazon-own disco ball awkwardly cellotaped to the ceiling. Someone had clearly spent a lot of time getting the walls just so. There was also stained glass in wood in there, a good sign. The swarms of youths made getting further into the bar unthinkable, although I’m sure this area would also betray signs of a more glamorous past. NB: As an add on, I am certain that everyone in the bar was of age. They were diligently checking all IDs and I use the above title in jest only. This bar is big for the 21 to 25 group!"

"This could’ve been a totally fine and un-noteworthy experience, but the service was bad enough to shift any neutral feelings I originally had to negative ones. The bartenders were both cold, they just stared at our entire group blankly and said virtually nothing. When asked the price of a drink, the bartender proceeded to make the drink immediately without giving the price, charge a card and then later present the bill. The built in gratuity made the price even harder to swallow - if no service was provided, you shouldn’t be forced into a set tip. On the up swing, the bartenders refunded the drink without complaint, so we appreciated them correcting the miscommunication. Despite that, it was still an unfriendly environment to spend time in. The environment was alright, with pleasant lower lighting but otherwise minimal effort put into decor or ambiance. Prices aren’t listed, which is a little off putting to people that are cost-conscious. If you don’t post prices, you should be more than happy to discuss the drinks and prices with guests who care, but that was the opposite of the case. Maybe it’s better for dancing? It seems like there’s set up for that later at night. Drinks were decent, nothing fancy but tasted solid. Ultimately though, it wasn’t worth the money and wasn’t a comfortable environment to be in. If the service improved I could see it being a decent spot to visit! Cost: -built in 20% gratuity -basic cocktails (mixer and liquor-$14 total) -higher abv cocktails $19 after built in tip"

"My friends phone (young girl) was stolen and other 3 girls phones were stolen in the span of half an hour. When reported to bar manager was told that the phone is replaceable. Theft and no reaction whatsoever from the management, not a safe place for women. Night ruined."
