"In early December 2023, my husband and I got the news that after years of waiting, we finally had the opportunity to become parents to a baby girl via adoption. Our daughter was already born when we were informed about the placement and that we could take her home in a matter of days. While we were ready emotionally to become parents, we were thoroughly unprepared materially. We had just a few days to get all of the things a baby needs, from a place to sleep to a way to eat to clothes to wear. We arrived to the Paramus BuybuyBaby on a Saturday morning with nothing more than a height and weight for our daughter, and left with everything that we needed. The staff helped us make good choices about strollers, pack-n-plays, clothes, bottles, you-name-it. By the time we left, we had a full car and we're feeling so much better prepared to welcome home our daughter. About a month later, we needed more supplies (rocker, changing pads, thermometer, etc.). I didn't think anyone would remember us, but the staff absolutely did and we were so happy to introduce them to the baby they so ably helped us prepare for."
