"One of the best dinning experiences iv ever had! Really great occasion restaurant, we went for my best friends 30th and it was perfect! I was really nervous after reading the reviews that we would feel rushed for an hours seating but didnt feel it one bit! The food and service was so so good - only a 12 person seating and it felt really intimate - they encouraged you to drink the unlimited sake and the quality of the food was so good considering the price! Some really imaginative dishes - not just the standard omakase.. Every omakase should be this fun! We left feeling very tipsy and very satisfied! Will be back for another birthday to impress in the future!"
"Absolutely incredible! Would come back 100 more times. The chefs were fantastic, every dish was delicious, music was a vibe, sake on the house all night long, I can’t say enough great things about this place!! So happy we went for my birthday"
"At $100 PP you’d expected higher quality of food. The sake was pre poured in a jar and watered down. The atmosphere is very nice. The chefs are very friendly and offer a great show. Personally I wouldn’t go again to the Williamsburg location because it’s just not worth it. The Roosevelt one is better priced. Try Sushi W! It’s more authentic and priced very fair $60 for 15 courses!!!"
"Was a little nervous when they put us in the waiting area out back, but then they wowed me with the omakase. A super fun experience with an amazing selection. What I loved most (besides the endless stream of sake of course) was the mix of traditional sashimi with cooked dishes. Quality wise, all dishes were on point."
"My mom and I visited Sushi On Me for her birthday/Mother’s Day. The outside of the restaurant is not marked, and was locked. It gave a secretive and special feel to us. The staff was very friendly, and the dishes were pretty good. I love when a restaurant pairs the food well with textures of the dinnerware/glassware. The presentation of each dish was amazing! The only thing I would say, is to extend the experience to be 2 or more hours long. It felt very rushed, especially being our bill for 2 people was over $250. I loved the endless sake included, but with 15 dishes, I could barely enjoy 1-2 glasses. The timing here would really make a huge difference in my experience and opinion. I loved the risqué vibes and it was the perfect amount of “party” vibes. The dishes were great (some a tad too fishy for us) but we definitely needed more time to enjoy and learn about these dishes for this price. I will definitely want to check out the Queens location to compare, but I am not sure I would frequent this location for special occasions."
