"Complete let down!! From google map to waking in. Very different vibe, get-to-the-point service and slim thumb-size sushi were the breaking point… just here for decent food… ya know. And wine - bad and the glass… (see it yourself). Paid and left disappointed. However, went to the bathroom upstairs and it’s felt like a total restaurant and vibe , not sure what’s going on here but … I would stay away if you wanna have a nice experience (or ask to sit upstairs)Z"
"Forget your pedestrian bivalves, friends! Hastuhana has unleashed a kraken of oyster perfection, served with the siren song of real, spine-tingling authentic wasabi. We slurped, we savored, and frankly, our oyster compass is forever askew. Normal oysters now seem like cardboard cutouts of their former glory. And then there's the Dream Box, an edible masterpiece that's as much art as appetizer. We felt like barbarians gnawing on the Mona Lisa, but oh, what glorious barbarians we were! Every bite was a brushstroke of flavor, a testament to culinary genius. Speaking of genius, let's raise a sake to Umi. This sake sang on our tongues, a melody that wooed us into instant, devoted fans. We're hooked, line and sinker! But Hastuhana isn't just about the food (though, dear gods, the food!). The service is a symphony of attentiveness. Coats whisked away like fallen leaves, watchful eyes ensuring every plate arrives like a precious jewel. It's the kind of care that makes you feel like royalty, minus the stuffy crowns. Hastuhana, you've stolen our hearts (and probably a few taste buds along the way). We'll be back, lured by the siren song of wasabi and the promise of oyster nirvana. Consider us loyal subjects of your delicious kingdom!"
"Wonderful place, sat at the sushi bar, incredible atmosphere and sense of authenticity. We had both of their signature creations, the box and chirashi. Very interesting and creative. Fish was excellent."
"This place was highly recommended but I was a bit disappointed… The service was excellent but the freshness of seafood could be better. Some of the sushi were a bit dry when the plate arrived."
"The food is good. However there is a table of Chinese customers who speaks very loudly and destroy the whole atmosphere of the restaurant. There could be sign that remind customers not to create noise and speak softly. We ordered some sushi and they are delicious. We could try that again but maybe when the atmosphere problem is resolved."
