"It’s a great experience coming to J. Press and working with all the good folks who work there, especially Andrew, Nick and Robert. I highly recommend coming to the store location in person because it is a great shopping experience and it’s something that is unique and special that one cannot entirely get online. I have worked a lot with Robert, Nick, Andrew and the other fine gentleman at the store. They really make J. Press a great place to shop, and every experience feels individual and uniquely tailored."

"I'm not reviewing J. Press their wares are top quality. Im reviewing the sales assistants and overall experience of coming into the shop.. Im from England so J. Press isn't a shop I can visit regularly but I was in NY on holiday and I love clothes , so I was looking forward to parting with some hard earned cash in exchange for some decent clobber..... Sadly as I entered the shop I was met with what I can only be described as disdain, seriously I've never felt so un welcome in an establishment in all my life So I basically left with a couple of token purchases and a sour taste in my mouth When I should of been leaving with a spring in my step and a few bags of shirts and knits .. Sad experience ......"

"On recent travels to New York, I was so excited to finally stop by the store as there is no store in my local city. Unfortunately, the allure stopped with my actual shopping experience. Walking into the store, the customer service felt lackluster. The shop attendants did not seem interested in welcoming me into the store, nor helping me explore the merchandise and pricing. They seemed preoccupied chatting amongst themselves. My interactions with them felt awkward and intimidating. All though I did purchase a pair of trousers, I ended up returning them because of my unsavory experience. I have always yearned to own J Press pieces, but I no longer look forward to shopping with the brand due to this experience unfortunately."

"Robert, the nattily dressed manager and a jazz guitarist is my go to person at a this store; Their elegant Americana look, classic fit and fine quality are unmatched. Currently in the midst of getting their checkered cashmere sport coat which is perfect for my residence in San Francisco and just got it today. Love their sports shirts picture below."
