"I had a Bad Experience with the Manager Katelyn. I am Disabled and in a Wheelchair and I was with my Aid to push me. I needed to Exchange my Xs to a Small in Jegging . I ordered them for Christmas . She insisted I needed to call Customer service my self to get the order #. I ask her if she could please call for me there since It is hard for me to go home and come back another day . She kept insisting I can not Cal You have to. So I stepped into the mall called the number and they gave me the number and also Said the Manager could have done it herself I would of just needed to verify my name and address on the phone . No Big Deal. So I confront the manager again she still denies I can not do it , I said your a Liar , You could of saved me this inconvenient .and I will be telling Your District Manager. Then her employee write next to her says to me and my aid ,Yes we could of called it for you, her face dropped . My nurses's aid said Thank You were done after he admitted it. She did nothing and showed No Compassion for me being in a Wheelchair .I felt ashamed and sad they way she treated me , There was more but this is the Honest truth oh and I did not have my phone on me to retrieve through my phone."
"I waited outside for 20 minutes for a curbside pick up (bc my daughter was napping) no one was coming. So I then called the store to let them know I was waiting for a while outside they had no idea anything about my order. I had to give them all the order info and then they said well be out soon"
"My family and I had a great experience at this American eagle store. The store was clean, organized and very well kept. The young man, Vinny, that helped us was very polite and pleasant. Thank you Vinny, for such a nice experience."
"I went earlier today with my friend. We went in the store two times after walking around for a bit. The first time my friend bought a pink tanktop and while at check out she was trying to make light conversation with our cashier (I understand they were maybe having a bad day) and they weren’t very nice back. They were constantly rolling their eyes at her and huffing and puffing whenever my friend spoke. She kindly reminded them to please take the security magnet off of her shirt to which they responded “mhm” before putting it into the bag. Granted we should’ve checked the shirt before we left, but both of us expected it to be taken off. We got home and the security tag was still on. Not complaining about the security tag but the employee should’ve been nicer and taken it off. As for me, I bought sweatpants and socks and I didn’t even have to say anything before the cashier took mine off. My cashier was very sweet to the both of us and was talking to us and being responsive."
"I came to the store to either return or exchange a pair of leggings bought at the offline store in freehold, where I even double checked that I’d be able to return them to another ae store. Upon checking out a store associate told me they were unable to return without a tag on the leggings. He even checked with whom I assume to be his manager and she agreed that they couldn’t take it back. When I checked online later the return policy said they would take it back. I called the store and spoke to the manager she spoke over me and kept asking me to come back in but avoided questions while talking over me. She even tried to place blame on the guy who had helped me named William, after which I informed her that he had checked with her and it’s not his fault. Once I told her that I was not coming in unless they said they would take it back she called me honey in a condescending tone and said she would. Upon arriving back to the store my return was processed by someone new with no issues. I was made aware by the person who processed my return that sometimes they do this to try to encourage returns be done in the original store… which is ridiculous."
