"This is unfortunate. Food was good years ago, but it’s gone straight downhill. We can no longer recommend this restaurant based on the poor quality of seafood and bad service. Wish someone would step in and take over since it does have potential in a great location. Need to get back to fresh quality food and good service like it used to be. Until then I’m staying far away."

"I ordered a pescado a lo macho and the crab, when I opened it, had a rotten smell. The first person we called smelled it and said it smelled like crab, the other suggested that I wasn't used to this type of food. really??? Maybe they thought I didn't want to pay for the dish, which wasn't the case because I had already eaten more than half of it. only the crab was bad. Anyway, smell everything before eating. something might be rotten."

"A TASTE OF PERU - I’ve been to 2/3 locations ( freehold & jamesburg) & they have not disappointed! The atmosphere is calm and relaxed , friendly staff and amazing Peruvian cuisine! The best part is that it’s not that expensive. Recommend for a family dinner night!"

"Saw some of the negative reviews but decided to go anyway as we happened to be in the area and it was definitely worth it. Every restaurant right now is struggling with staff so our waitress was clearly one of two servers. However food still came out in a decent time and she did attend to our needs not to mention she was very kind and friendly. The food was extremely delicious and authentic Peruvian food. We were very happy with everything. Their Papa a la hucaina sauce is one of the best we've had locally."
