"1st time to this location due to the reviews but I will never again will return especially after finding out the pricing for a grilled chicken sandwich. 1. $20 for a plain chicken sandwich. But beware if you want lettuce or tomatoes you get charged extra for those. 2. The chicken was cold I order a hot sandwich. The chicken went from fridge to the sandwich. 3. The home fries tasted like they were going bad before they were reheated and sold to me. If those home fries weren't going bad then they were horribly seasoned. 4. I was expecting to spend around $15 on the sandwich and home fries but I spent twice as much. When I questioned this they told me that I was charged extra for lettuce tomatoes cheese salt and pepper. For not that great food. I don't recommend this place at all complete rip off for mediocre food."
"The best bagels I’ve ever had! It’s not just the bagels, I’ve had multiple items on the menu and everything is fantastic. The staff is inviting and kind. The facility is spotless. The Easter eggs all over make it so much fun to dine in. The new ownership has truly transformed the deli!"
"Delicious Deli sandwiches made to order, using fresh breads, rolls, and bagels...with beautifully cut selected cold cuts, salads, sides, etc. You can order from a very long list of sandwich selections, all your traditional favorites, but the real fun comes when you customize your own choice. For example, my order last week was hot pastrami on rye, sliced raw onion, mustard on both slices of bread...yum...have your favorites your way Good selection of drinks, and nicely brewed coffee, too. Basic eat-in or take out."
"I ordered on door dash and I’ve never had an issue before, they sent me the wrong bagel and on top of that I found hair In the bagel, two pieces of brown hair. I felt like vomiting, whoever is working there isn’t covering their hair. This is unhygienic, I called to speak with a manager and she was nice. Hopefully this never happens to anyone else"
"We had a great experience at this place. If you are looking for an authentic Jewish delicatessen and sandwich shop this one is a good bet. We ordered the five W. Orange and the South Orange sandwich. They were both super fresh and on excellent Rye bread. We also took home some bagels which were amazing, as well as some bagel chips. The French fries came out super and although I've seen Price as an issue at this place, And it is an issue at every place lately, the quality of the food and quantity was well worth the price. They have Brown's sodas which I personally have always loved since trying them for the first time in New York City when I was small. Pretty cultured for a Puerto Rican from Jersey. LOL. The place had great atmosphere and the service was fast. There is on street parking as well as a few public parking lots available close to this place. There is outdoor seating both on the side of the building as well as in the front. The place overall was wheelchair accessible and they have a big family style bathroom which could be considered accessible. Give it a try if you are in the Milburn area which includes the surrounding towns of, union, West Orange, short Hills and Elizabeth or the other oranges are not far off. I believe they close at 3 PM so it's more like a breakfast brunch and lunch place."
