"Cute neighborhood coffee shop. It’s usually packed so I’m a “to go girl” here. I usually do a hot lavender latte."
"I enjoy going to this place because it is close to my apartment and therefore convenient. Would I go out of my way to go here if I didn’t live as close? Probably not. The espresso tastes like licorice (to me) but their other coffee drinks are good. It’s a little bit pricey but that is not unusual in NYC. The indoor atmosphere is poor. There is almost never a seat inside because it is occupied at all hours by people working on their laptops all day. Even when I return twice or more in the same day, it’s always full of laptops. Maybe I just have bad luck and timing! Even if you do get a spot inside - it is one of those places in the city that is plagued by unnecessarily loud “background” music. It is very much in the foreground. However, the staff are always extremely nice. Sitting at the tables outside in the warmer months is more enjoyable and more quiet and one of my favorite things to do in my neighborhood. I still hold this place in my heart dearly and am attached to it! :)"
"The place has a relaxed vibe and the outdoor seating is very nice, shaded and often not too crowded. The drinks were ok and the açaí bowl was good, just a bit runnier than I’m used to. Overall, I think it’s a nice place to go to, for a conversation or to work."
"Went there a few times during a trip to NYC. Very popular, often fully packed neighborhood coffee shop. Iced coffees were very watery, flavorless. During next visits we ordered flat whites which were much, much better, 10/10 drink. Unfortunately they charge 1usd for plant milk. The food is great, tasty, filling, but also a bit overpriced. Please note that the kitchen doesn’t open until 9-9:15, before this you can only order drinks. Good, friendly service. Overall, recommended, with a few remarks"
"Very good coffee shop and owner, what a nice surprise. The coffee flavour and strength were mellow and balanced, kind of typical, but a good latte overall and a better one with vanilla. Nice selection of bakery products like the lemon cake or the almond croissant I had. The seating area takes you to the past with its old and characteristics style"
