"Came here with a large group and shared 4 different pizzas (LIC, aglietta, bufala, and montanara), and 3 pastas (rigatoni, triangoli). Out of the pizzas, the aglietta was my favourite as the garlic added a lot of flavour to the pizza (especially if you like garlic). The pizza dough is chewy and fresh, but I would say I’ve definitely had better pizza in different Italian restaurants in the city. As for the pastas, the pasta itself wasn’t the best and nothing stood out to me in particular. That being said, the service and ambiance of the place is great, and definitely has a warm energy to it."

"Good pizza, great vibe. Went in solo for a late bite at the bar. Got a margherita with mushrooms - $21 - a little pricey for the portion but the spicy olive oil you can pour on yourself wins my forgiveness on that front. Also got a whiskey sour that was made well. Enjoyed the visit!"

"The best part of dinner was the free focaccia. The pizza… the crust is so unnecessarily large that you forget what kind of pizza you ordered because you’re too busy munching on tasteless crust. (The focaccia was so flavorful by contrast that I was sorely disappointed) I ordered the Levante and my partner got the Rucola. The topping portion itself was okay, still a bit bland. At least it was filling. I wish whatever flavoring that was used in the focaccia was added to the crust/pizza dough. Finally, while I went to the bathroom, a server folded my used napkin to which my partner noted that was a sanitary concern."

"This is a good Italian food option in LIC. They have a great menu of pasta and pizza recipes with the best being the pizzas. Levante makes for a great brunch/lunch spot."
