"On June 8th I went into Tilly's and purchase some t-shirts and a pair of shorts. One of the T-shirts I purchased was a gift. Unfortunately the gift didn't fit well. On June 13th we went back to the store to exchange the shirt for another size and or color. I also accidentally threw the receipt away. I did however purchase with a credit card and have a record of the purchase on my credit card statement. Tilly's refused to even change the shirt without the receipt. I understand if I was trying to return it but I just wanted to exchange, all the tags were on the shirt and it was unworn plus I showed them my credit card statement showing a purchase at Tilly's literally 5 days before. In 5 days it's not like there was any price differences or anything, I just wanted a different size. The credit card statement should be able to act as a receipt since it clearly shows Tilly's and I wasn't asking for money back. I thought that was kind of ridiculous!"
