Reviews
"Hi friends ! Highly recommend this restaurant staff were professional and efficient. We went for restaurant week, but I definitely will continue to be a frequent customer. I recommend you make a reservation and check this restaurant out. We had the Parker rolls , filet medallions , salmon with crab and shrimp , and the carrot cake. The live music added the perfect setting to this beautiful restaurant."
"We had a fantastic lunch here. We ordered a lobster bisque and a lobster roll each. Each dish was excellent! The chef at this location is particularly talented, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. One downside was there was only one waiter for the entire lunch crowd, which meant things were a bit slow. For instance, a second glass of wine arrived after my husband finished eating, rather than with his meal. And it took forever to order it. We understand the world has changed since covid, but more communication, more processes, more training is needed. We don't mind paying a little more for staff healthcare, etc, but the service can't lag on top of it all. Still, lovely food, and would definitely recommend it, and return when we are in DC."
"I’ve been to this place twice. The first time they overcharged us for a party of two by close to $100. I didn’t notice until a few weeks later, and although the manager apologized and refunded the money, he could not explain how it happened. The second time, the service was very lackluster and slow, from the front desk person, to the server. We later remembered the mandatory 18% gratuity. This is sad considering how grossly overpriced the food is. The salmon was undercooked, but apparently that’s how they prepare it. The crab fried rice had little to no crab. The broccoli dish was really good, but everything else was just ok. The live singer was great and performed a variety of songs."
"Frome the greeting at the door to our exit at the same door, our party had a great time. The servers are very knowledgeable of their menu and are more than likely guaranteed to recommend an appetizer, main course, dessert, and a drink that would satisfy you and your taste buds to the ultimate of satisfaction. Equipped with a fully operational elevator, you do not have to worry about going up and down stairs if the main level is booked."
"Went early Friday evening. Quiet in the dining room, not crowded but the place did fill up. Server was very informative and helpful. The seafood is excellent and very fresh, but comes at a premium price. You can rack up a pretty hefty tab pretty quickly. But that is true of all the “better” seafood restaurants in DC. Nice drinks. Lobster thermidor is a weak rendition of the dish, I’ll pass on it next time. The lobster tail was nice. Excellent selection of desserts and they are big. This place is a very nice cookie cutter premium seafood restaurant."
