Beacon303 at Olde Towne Apartments

"I have never lived in such a nasty place in my life. I'd much rather live in the hood honestly. My wife and I currently live here, and since she is a member of the US navy, we are currently working with them to break our lease. We have an ongoing issue with our AC unit to where it leaks water through the ceiling. And because the maintenance work is so poor, we have BLACK MOLD growing from the ceiling where the leakage takes place. Apart from that, there's a cockroach infestation all over the place. We see a roach at least twice every single day and I see roach eggs at least once a day, which means there could be many more elsewhere. I've contacted the managers several times, both with written emails and orally. But it just seems like they brush it off as a "no big deal" situation. But based on the rest of the reviews I've read on here, it's definitely a big deal. They also seem to jack up the prices for utilities every rent payment. I've even gotten an email from management saying that there's nothing they can do to fix the cost of utilities, which I don't believe for a second. They just control the prices to put more money into their pockets. My wife has spoken with her chiefs as well as her chain of command. They are helping us break our lease and getting help with DoD legal assistance to blacklist this complex from any US military service members. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!"

"I am utterly disappointed with my experience at Beacon 303. It's quite baffling how a supposedly modern apartment complex manages to get even the basics wrong. The heating and air conditioning systems are nothing short of a disaster. During the sweltering summer months, when one expects air conditioning to provide some semblance of relief, I was left sweating profusely in my own living space. Conversely, in the bone-chilling winter, the heating system seemed to be on an extended vacation, leaving me shivering and regretting ever signing the lease. But the incompetence doesn't end there. The management's handling of utilities and pricing is an absolute nightmare. They gleefully overcharge for utilities, seemingly at random. One month my bill is through the roof, and the next it's inexplicably lower, making it impossible to budget effectively. And let's not forget their charming habit of being completely dishonest about their pricing. I signed my lease under one set of terms, only to find out that they conveniently "updated" their pricing structure a few months down the line. It's a classic bait-and-switch tactic that reeks of shady business practices. As if all this isn't enough, the owner's penchant for changing things up on a yearly basis adds a delightful layer of uncertainty to the mix. Just when you think you've figured out the quirks of the complex and have managed to adapt, they decide it's time to throw a curveball. It's as if they want to ensure that residents never get too comfortable or complacent, always keeping us on our toes with their ever-changing policies and rules. All in all, my experience at Beacon 303 has been nothing short of a nightmare. From malfunctioning HVAC systems to dishonest pricing practices and yearly upheavals, this place has proven to be an exercise in frustration and disappointment. If you're considering moving here, I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere for a more stable, transparent, and comfortable living arrangement."

"This is the nastiest place I’ve ever lived in the common area like hallways and elevators has many roaches, the building is definitely invested!!! and I’ve yet to see an exterminator come out to treat the building, Only one elevator in the building works. Overall I would never ever recommend this property to no one !!!"

"Poor management. I had roaches, window leaks, bathroom leaks and most of my requests were swept under the rug for months or completely ignored. Even after move out I have yet to get in contact with someone because my initial pet fee was never charged to my account and they charged me for closet doors I never had. Complex is dirty and not well maintained. I would not recommend living here at all."

"Very disappointed. My husband is in the navy and we were looking to move asap. I scheduled a tour for Monday and confirmed it multiple times. We drove 9 hours to tour and we’re told when we arrived that the apartment we wanted to see was no longer available and that there wouldn’t be another to see until Friday. I understand that apartments get sold, but it would’ve taken 2 minutes to send me an email letting me know it’s no longer available. Very unprofessional."
