Walmart Pharmacy

"Every time I call, I get a "robot" and she won't let me communicate with a real person and keeps repeating the same answer over and over again no matter how I rephrase the question. Sometimes "artificial intelligence" ain't that smart."

"I'm a new customer of this pharmacy. Yesterday, I went to pick up three prescriptions. I stood in line, got up to the cashier and told her what I was picking up. She proceeded to tell me the total, I asked if she had my insurance, she did not & directed me to the 'drop off' to update insurance info and assured me I wouldn't have to wait in line again, I could buy my meds from the 'drop off' person. I go there, update my info & this worker informed me I could go get back in the original line I was directed from. Okay, fine. I stand in line, again & get up to cashier who decided to make a joke about me waiting twice after she informed me I didn't have have too. I pay for my items. I get home, only one of three items were in my bag. No one communicated that to me. No one said they were out of stock or to buy the other item otc. I called to get that info and every single employee I encountered while there and over the phone could care less. I don't know if it's because you're short staffed, there were about 10 ppl behind the counter but do better."

"The people are great but they're ALWAYS short handed. Hire them some more help, I guarantee everyone will have less problems. Quit forcing four people to do what a team of six or seven should."

"Needed to switch pharmacies due to an insurance policy change so came into this one to have them transfer my prescriptions from my old pharmacy to here and fill them. Needed them to fill 2 generic prescriptions within 24 hours before leaving for an out of state trip. They told me no problem and I could come back for them the following morning and I should get a notification text when they are ready for pickup. After not receiving a text or any confirmation, I show back up 24 hours later and ask to pick up my prescriptions. They had no clue who I was or why my name wasn't showing up in their database. After finding the same person I'd spoken to the previous day, she notified me that the pharmacy had been really busy and that they hadn't even called my old pharmacy to request the transfer paperwork and it would be at minimum another 24 hours. At this point I don't have enough anti seizure medication to last another 24 hours (which is why I had an original deadline I was counting on them for). How hard is it to make a 5 minute phone call and count out 30 pills, print a label, and put them into a bottle? Thank goodness I found another pharmacy with competent employees that were willing to fill my prescriptions in time."
