"Front desk staff is unprofessional and when I called about not getting my medication- due to them calling it in to the wrong pharmacy- they made me come back in to see the Doctor instead of calling in the meds to the right pharmacy. When coming in they always make you fill out a iPad over and over again- and the receptionist was nasty when I said nothing had changed from a few weeks ago. She purposely made it hard for me to see the Dr saying my insurance was not showing I was covered - she thought it was funny and was laughing with the other receptionist back and forth. Sentara even confirmed my insurance and took the NPI number and Selena’s name to file a complaint for her lack of professionalism. I have been a patient for many years- I will not go back. I hope Selena learns her paycheck comes from the Doctor having patients. My medications were out and if I had not needed them - I would of walked out. You should consider who you hire tor the front desk- a person who lacks class and patience should not be in a healthcare front office position: You couldn’t hire better than her - I feel sorry for your practice. You will lose more patients with her attacking your patients because she is unprofessional. Seems you must have a hard time keeping front desk personnel because it’s always changing. I will never come back and I am filing a report with the board of healthcare to explain how I was treated with the Sentara Optimim representative. Don’t wast your time coming here they can’t get medication sent to your correct pharmacy !"
"My experience here at Arundel Dermatology was horrible. I left their office feeling unheard, anxious and ultimately misdiagnosed. I had a hair loss appointment scheduled with Ms Ferguson (physician assistant). Other than lecturing me about how I was double booked, Ms. Ferguson offered very minimal patient interaction. She asked no questions about my symptoms — just simply looked and made a diagnosis. She did not give me time to explain myself nor the symptoms that I was having. She then rushed to see to her next appointment only handing a pamphlet to explain her diagnosis. I wasn’t able to ask questions or follow up in any capacity. I came in the office feeling anxious and I left feeling 10x’s more anxious, ignored and confused. I felt completely voiceless. I went to get a second opinion soon after and found out I was misdiagnosed! If you are concerned for your health and want to be heard, I would not recommend this care provider."
"This place is absolutely terrible. I seen Dr. Masters. The doctor seen me told me I had eczema on my forehead and eyelid. Knowing that I had had athletes foot a month prior to that. I decided to do my own research and found that I most likely had ringworm. I had mentioned it to the doctor that day. He told me it wasn’t. And there was nothing I could do but moisturize and that was it.. Not believing him I just started to try hydrogen peroxide on the spot that looked like ringworm on my forehead and that’s what I did twice a day for two weeks. I fixed my own problem. This doctor needs to retire"
