"We started here, taking the North Bank Trail section of the James River Park system. We hiked out about 2.5 miles and turned around for about 5 miles in 2 hours. It connects to the longer Buttermilk Trail. It's mildly strenuous in some places but nothing that any person in decent health couldn't handle. Great hike!"
