"We had a lovely walk in the woods. Park is busy with joggers and families at the playground and sports fields, but it is large enough to give privacy and space to all the visitors. A family of deer wandered the woods and many squirrels worked to put away food for winter. This was a great place to explore since we had and extra hour to spend. It is really conveniently located close to many of Midlothian's attractions."

"Great fenced in playground for mainly toddlers & parents, pre-school & younger children! Nice vibes during earlier part of day till older grade school children play. (Caution with little ones when older kids run around much faster playing tag) Restrooms, walking trails & basketball courts are nearby!"

"I enjoy this park. There are a variety of things that can be done; basketball, soccer, playground, walking & running, and health course. Everything is well maintained. I usually come to use the running trail, as it is flat, smooth, finely crushed rock. Conducive for strollers & children's bikes. There are additional wood trails spurring out for hiking. All the trails are well-shaded, even in the middle of the day. Nice place during the heat of summer to catch a break without being indoors."

"Great place to play with the kids. They have a large sand box with some toys, that are showing heavy usage but still usable. My son didn't seem to care which is all that matters. The largest playground playset I have yet to see and designed to be used by any age really. Some swings as well, though they are only for small kids."
