"This man is a case study in why women who seek out non-men and APRNs/DNPs as their practitioners have better treatment outcomes and why improved continued education practices for medical professionals is so critical. He uses stigmatizing and outdated language and criteria as well as casually throwing around NPD diagnoses as a way to silence and insult autistic patients advocating for their own care. Doc Lockhart, to use your own words sir, “maybe you’re a narcissist” as you clearly show a disregard for others' feelings, an inability to handle any criticism, and a sense of entitlement. I’d recommend that gristly bit you occasionally find in a chicken nugget as a trusted source of psychiatric knowledge over this man."

"Dr. Lockhart is under qualified and uneducated on current up to date DSM-5 criteria on female autism. Can we please update these old guidelines that this specific doctor seems to be following. If the patient advocates for their lived experiences he will counter that by calling you a narcissist, so please be careful and protect your own mental health. With doctors like him who don’t care to continue to further educate themselves, we will always stay stagnant within this one sided view of ASD. Not all autistics are non verbal or monotone. In fact there are many who are hyper verbal, self aware and know more about autism than actual “professionals” in this field such as Dr. Lockhart. This is why people don’t seek formal diagnosis’s because of uneducated opinions of doctors who think they know better, when really they are using outdated criteria and have a complete disregard of how the spectrum in Autism Spectrum Disorder actually works and affects woman. Do better or find a different field because you are harming our community."
