"We boarded our older lab with Ashby Gap Kennels for two weeks. They went above and beyond what was expected to get him to eat and to make him feel welcome. Our senior dog had a spacious indoor/outdoor run, and the facility was clean and well cared for. This really is as good as it gets. Highly recommended for peace of mind when you have to leave your dog behind. Margaret B., February 2019"

"We only gave one star for the price. But you get what you pay for. We were so disappointed with our visit to this place. We needed to leave our dog there for 11 nights. The woman told us upfront she wasn’t going to give our dog the treats we brought according to the schedule we gave her despite having specific instructions written on each one. Hardly any of the many treats we brought had been given and our treat box even had a mouse in it. When we called a couple times while we were away she assured us that our dog was fine. When we picked him up he had lost so much weight we could see his ribs. Of course he was happy to see us but once we got home he was really depressed. Then we had forgotten to pick up his shot records and called twice to ask for it to be sent. It’s been a month since we picked our dog up and we still haven’t received the records. We still feel so bad for subjecting our dog to what appeared to be such neglect. We love him so much and will surely budget to take him to a better place next time."

"Just picked up our 2 Bostons and Boxer after an 8 day stay. Our Boxer is having kidney issues and is on special food. They gave her special KD food as I asked. The kennel always smells clean and is very well kept. We have 3 more trips before Feb and they will be staying there."
