West Beverly Street Laundry Land Laundromat 2225 West Beverley Street, Staunton, VA 24401

"Been coming here weekly for 2 years now. Compared to the other places in Staunton, it's not bad at all. The card readers are the best part. As of right now the washers range in price from $3.50 to $10.50 a load depending on their capacity and they do occasionally raise it. There is also a big tub sink to use for free. All dryers are 25 cents per 5 minutes with the bigger ones having a 10 minute minimum. There's also some arcade type games that sometimes work. I wish they would bring back the old school pin ball machine. It was great when it worked! Sometimes the crowd can be a little unsavory but that's more of a reflection on the area and not the laundry mats fault. I've never felt unsafe though. I wish there were card readers on every machine or a sign urging coin users to not use those first. When it's really busy that can get annoying bc those machines get used first. It's 2023 and having $10+ dollars of quarters is a little silly. They've gotten a lot better at repairing the washers when they are broken and hasn't been any issue for a bit. There is also a bathroom that is meh but it works. All in all pretty good, just try and come when it's not busy. Edit: taking two stars off because they changed all the big machines and didn't put card readers on them. They are $8.50 and needing to sit there and put 34 quarters in them is kinda ridiculous. Not to mention lugging that many quarters around is just dumb. Put the card readers back on the big machines!!"

"They've gotten better about repairing machines. Unfortunately they've taken the card readers off of some machines and disabled tap on all the readers left. So make sure you bring a card and cash. Would be nice if they could fet a card reader on the change machines, then it wouldnt matter if they were on the actual machines. Original review: Dropping this down to one star. They must have figured 6 min per quarter was too good of a deal, now it's 5 min per.............. There is also a ton of out of order dryers and washers. Prices are high for the dryers. Place is fairly clean, staff is friendly."
