"From the moment I reached out to Hampton Roads Harbor Tours, I knew they would be perfect for our leadership summit dinner. I began planning things with Kimberly, and she was always so kind and responsive throughout the planning process - even when I had to be reassured everything was on track. But the actual event - they literally blew me out of the water! They worked with our caterers to set up everything, with our DJ, with table placements, etc... Kimberly was there to meet me while we were boarding, talked with me and was present the entire time to make sure each and every single person had a great time. They surprised me saying this was their first event like this! I would have had no idea they way things went. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. "I had a good time on this tour today. Going out on the Hampton Queen for a two-hour tour from the Hampton River (in Hampton) at the far end of the Norfolk Naval Base. The Hampton Roads Harbor Tours (HRHT) team is very knowledgeable of the area's history and explains it so well. The Hampton Queen had plenty of seating great observation deck from the top, but seating capacity at the bow (front) and stern (back) of the boat has very limited seating for the number of people it can carry. It could become dangerous if too many people gather there. I found the inside view on the bottom floor to be great, and the environment was friendly and relaxed, unlike the top, which was a little warm. The Captain and the crew were amazingly nice! There is a snack bar onboard but be advised it is expensive. Bottled water and snack size bag of Cheetos ran me six bucks. The price was reasonable, and you can reserve your crew online. "Took family trip on one of the tours. We enjoyed learning about the history shared. Also enjoy just over peaceful time in the boat. The crew members were all friendly and helpful. Would recommend to those who like learning about history and can see some of naval ships."
