"Been a while since we visited the museum and we were not disappointed. The IMAX theater is always a treat. Love the games in the planet gallery! There is a new section for the little ones that is absolutely adorable!"
"It's not that huge a place, but a fun place to spend a few hours. The IMAX movie is included in the admission price. The Deep Sky IMAX movie was good. Some of the interactive activities, like driving the Mars Rover and the lunar lander, were fun and challenging."
"This was a very fun museum. With free parking across the street. Good for all ages. It's not huge, we went through in about an hour. Has a few neat exhibits and a good layout."
"This was a fantastic find! My niece wanted to go back after visiting on a school field trip so off we went and had a great time! There are so many exhibits that are interactive as well as a kid's play area to get wiggles out. Everything from airplanes, ship models to space and planets was available to see and learn about. We didn't visit the cafe but I did notice they had one as well as a very cool gift shop. Restrooms are clean and there is plenty of seating in all areas if you need a rest while the rest of your party explores. There is also a viewing area on the 3rd floor if you don't mind a few stairs."
"We loved the Virginia Air and Space Museum. We had kids from 6 to 13 with us, and all the children and adults loved it. We wish the observation deck was open and some of the exhibits were close, but we still had tons of fun and spent 3 hours there!"
