"Overall, attain has been a good place to live - we did end up resigning for another lease term. There are some areas for improvement- however Hunter and maintenance staff are very friendly and listen to your concerns and seem to do what they have the power to do to help fix them. They keep the inside nice and clean with a cleaning crew multiple times a week. The area seems to be growing with opening more stores/restaurants. Neighbors are friendly but unfortunately, some people don’t pick up after their dog which is super frustrating."
"I love living at Attain at Harbour View and would recommend it to family and friends! Maintenance gets work orders done quickly, even the non-emergencies. The office staff is attentive and helpful, and hold great community events. My apartment is beautiful and spacious, and the location is perfect!"
"I have tried to handle the issues, my family and I have been having, privately. However, I would be doing a disservice by not sharing our experience. Consistent hot water/pressure/billing Issues - In our 11 months of being here, my family and I are just now able to get more than 9 minutes of hot water when we shower. It took for me to reach out to the Vice President of Bonaventure for someone to come to our unit and inform us the electrical wiring was not done properly for our hot water heater. In these same 11 months, we have had extremely high water bills and fluctuating water consumption readings that still have not been justified, even after reaching out to the Vice President and Regional Property Manager. Our final update was that our meter was reading "normal" and that our water consumption was accurate. Still doesn't make any sense. - The water pressure is horrible. We have had to put in numerous work orders because there are times where the shower head water is coming out so slow, you can barely fill a cup. After we complained about it to the Vice President, we were able to get the issue looked into. The explanation we were given was that the sprinkler system was connected to the water pump used for the building which was causing the inconsistency. Again, this is something that took 11 months and me reaching out to the Vice President of the company for them to provide me these answers. Before that, our work orders would be closed randomly with a response of it being a building wide issue. In general, this property uses low-flow shower heads and other fixtures so even now that the water pressure consistency issue is "fixed," you will never get normal water pressure living here. Our Unit - The floors/ceilings are paper thin. There are so many cracks in the walls/uneven paint spots, and the counters stain from a something as simple as a water spill. Our cabinets are also coming undone and the shower head in one of the bathrooms is separating from the wall. The main building/Amenities - We have been waiting on the fire pit to be finished since we got here, 11 months ago. The main stairs in the lobby have been consistently closed off. The smell of weed in the stairway has been such an issue, they've had to put signs up, in the stairway, saying it is being monitored. Although I don't have a dog, it is disgusting to walk pass and see all feces piling up. There are cigarette butts left in the grass area between the pool and the bike rack. The 2nd floor hallway, of the main building, has spots where the floor is sinking in. I have already mentioned this to the front office but I have learned that this property gets things done/fixed when they want, not when it is actually needed. Overall, our apartment is over priced and the property does not deliver on the term "luxury." Everyone will have a their own unique experience. However, if I can save just one person from making the horrible decision we made, in moving here, that is enough for me."
"Updated to reduce to 1 star due to trash still being an issue.. Although I have had a okay experience at these apartment homes, I want to leave an honest review. Pros: -Floor Plans are very spacious and boasts nice appliances and finishing. I really like the carpets and vinyl wood flooring choice. Lots of windows for natural light. -Office & Staff have been very friendly and helpful. Miasia assisted me with the application process (A GEM!) and I have had zero issues with the response times of the maintenance staff. -Mail system is very secure. The Amazon package delivery system gives me peace of mind when I have mail coming in while I’m at work. *****Now, for the cons: -Trash is an issue (see pictures). The apartment is overrun with trash both in the dumpsters and in The trash chutes. We pay extra money for “trash fairies” who simply take out trash to the chute for us instead of offsite . This accumulates waste on the property to an unbearable degree. We need to run trash waaaay more often than we do. A few of my neighbors and I have to take our trash to local businesses so it doesn’t pile up in our homes. -PARKING is almost non existent. There is simply not enough parking for the amount of residents and I often have to park far away from my building which is a hassle when carrying groceries. -The walls are thin and the sounds/smells of your neighbors will seep into your home. I haven’t given any noise complaints because the neighbors aren’t loud, the walls don’t propel normal noise levels. -The water pressure and temperatures are extremely low. I’m not sure if it’s because of the building, but certainly not luxury by any standard. -The key fob system is a HUGE inconvenience. While it keeps out non-residents some packages have been rerouted due to inability to access my door for delivery. Also, food delivery becomes a chore when you have to leave your door to let them into your building. The company should incorporate an entry/intercom system for residents to allow access to without having to leave our doors. -WI-FI is a joke and a scam. Speeds are super slow and lots of buffering even just using my echo dot. Overall, this apartment complex is not luxury. for the price I expected more amenities and better ground maintenance. Instead, I am embarrassed to have friends come visit me because of how poorly the trashes managed and how poorly insulated the walls are. The sidewalks were supposed to be modified to allow use for wheelchairs, but they have not completed that yet. I have not seen any person in weeks working on it either. It seems to be at a standstill. overall is a decent place to stay certainly not luxury as advertised."
"I didn’t want to be one of the few to put up a negative review but I think I’ve reached my breaking point and speak for many residents who I’ve talked to, both current and former. I also think it’s a disservice for people going into this apartment thinking that it’s “luxury” and that it’s as nice as it seems 1. The ceilings are extremely thin and you can hear everything. Disruptive noise complaints are often dismissed as “regular apartment noise” even during quiet hours. 2. Dog park is gross — they didn’t seal the dog park correctly when it was first installed. On top of that, residents do not pick up after themselves and it has just pilled up ever since. I am scared to take my dog in there as regularly because I am afriaid that he will get sick. A former resident who recently moved out (due to her disappointment in the complex) had a small dog that she said got sick everytime she went into the dog park. The manager, Darryl told me it was handled however the park still looked the same as it has for the past two months and still looks this way today (see picture) 3. Smell of weed- lately there has been a strong stench of weed throughout the stairways. An email went out to residents to try to address the issue; however to me it’s just another reminder of how non-luxurious this “luxury” apartment complex truly is. 4. On the contrary, they will make sure they have their maintenance/ cleaning staff/ gardeners, painters, straighten up this place when there is a large corporate event 5. We pay all this money for amenities and the fire pit still does not work 6. I was told that there would be an intercom/ buzz system for guests but that still hasn’t happened 7. The dog wash room still doesn’t have a key fob as promised so you have to go into leasing office to ask for them to unlock it and are thus limited to office hour times 6. One positive is that Hunter is nice and I do believe she does all that she can to help residents have a good experience"
