Hunt Club Boarding Kennel and Cattery

"Update - There has since been a good deal of turnover at the facility. While I take no issue with the groomers at all, I am just shocked at the lack of service. In Nov I had my dog groomed and never got the call to pick him up. I called them, and they stated they thought he was being boarded for the holiday. I NEVER signed any paperwork or gave that impression. This last appointment, I was informed that the groomer for my large dog had left. They asked another young man if he would do it (while I was on the phone) and he said yes. The night before the appointment, I got a phone call at nearly 5 pm with a message saying they could not take him. I did not have time to call before the 6 pm closing. I tried to call late, but no one answered (not a bad thing just part of the story). When I called the next morning, I was told that they tried to call me multiple times (not true) and that I told them I would be taking my dog somewhere else (also not true). I went ahead and went through with the appointment to buy me time to find another groomer. When I called later in the afternoon to check on them, the person I spoke with answered the phone with "hello" and I had to ask if I had called the right place. She then gave me an attitude when I asked to check on my dogs. These are just a couple of examples. My dogs are my family, and I take who I leave them with seriously. I will be seeking out another solution for our grooming needs. I can't trust Hunt Club to get it right. I've been taking dogs here for years. April is magic with my difficult dog Max. I can only trust her with him. I recently rescued a large mixed breed, and Chris did a good job with his first groom. He was tough and scared - but she did what she could and is more than willing to work with him to build trust so he can work up to a full groom. I appreciate the staff here and they have always been kind to me."

"I have boarded my cat here twice (once for 2 weeks and then over Christmas for a week) and my dog here once. I am very happy with the care they received. I like that there are add-on options for the dogs like an exit bath and extra walks or play time. They get very busy here but they handle customers with care and kindness. Thanks to the staff for taking great care of my furry family members!"

"Our fur baby's home away from home during kids travel sport seasons and during our other travels. Always feel comfortable with him there as they treat him as he is one of their own pets. We bring our own food and one of his beds so he has a bit of home with him but they have some there if needed. Occasionally, we get photos of him during his playtime or walks. Nice to pick him up all bathed and clean smelling."

"Great experience. Friendly staff. They got me in last minute for a weekend stay when I called on a Thurs. They only required Distemper and Rabies shots for dogs. (Not sure if that will change in the future). The dogs are provided a bed with toys in a spacious caged portion of an air conditioned building. Each kennel has a doggie door for access to a concrete pad outside. Dogs always kept separate If you want your dog walked it will be $8 per walk at least a 10-15 min walk."

"April is the best groomer we've ever had. She interacts with our two wild and crazy dogs. If you want something different she listens and will do whatever we want. Been using April for a few years now and will continue to. We love April."
