"We are so grateful to the staff at Beach Pet. This morning our senior pup wasn’t quite himself and Mackenzie at the front desk and Dr Andrews were able to squeeze us in despite it being within an hour of them closing. Dr. Andrews was so kind and gentle with our sweet Chops and was able to diagnose and treat him. He’s already looking and acting like his old self. We’ve seen almost all of the vets at Beach Pet over the years and Dr Andrews continues to be one of our favorites. Our pets are our babies and she genuinely loves and cares about their health and well being and it means the world to us. Best vet and hospital in Hampton Roads!"

"Beach Pet is the BEST vet office in the area in my opinion. I’ve been to many different local offices and even traveled to Chesapeake once in search of the best vet for my dog. I have now seen 3 different doctors since being with beach pet and I am more than pleased with all of them! I have had only fantastic experiences from the front desk, vet techs, and the doctors. They all are so knowledgeable and really take time to answer all of my questions. They also are SO good with my dog. She gets real nervous at the vet as I’m sure many do, and they have the best vibe which makes her way more relaxed. I recommend them all the time! I also should mention they are very timely— this is a very important factor to me! I have not had to wait long at all to be seen with an appointment."

"This place treated my kitty, my husband, and me incredibly well. We took our kitty there in an emergency, and they were the only vet clinic in the area that could accommodate us on short notice (I called five or six regular and emergency clinics before that). We ended up needing to put our kitty down, and it was incredibly difficult. Dr. Imrich was attentive, sympathetic, and professional through the process. We received a beautiful paw print encased in a black display box, and a over a week later a sympathy card signed with personal messages from the staff. I definitely recommend Beach Pet Hospital!"

"This is definitely thee best place for the most compassionate care for you and your animals. The staff are always so nice, welcoming and helpful. Dr. Johnson is definitely the best of the best!! I come from Los Angeles and I have seen many vets and since moving to VA Beach 2 months ago she has been caring for my 4lb apple head chihuahua named Toby. He had just started having seizures before coming to VA and something had begun to grow on his neck. Dr. Johnson wasted no time on getting to work to figure out what was going on and how best to treat him. It turned out he had cancer. She answered all of our questions on each visits and each time I called and left a message she always called me back and spoke with me until I was comfortable. Today we had to let Toby go over the rainbow bridge because he was in pain and of course the team and Dr. Johnson were right there with great compassion and understanding. I cried my eyes out and Dr. Johnson walked me through the whole process as she sat and got teary eyed with us. It showed so much care and compassion for us and Toby. She stayed with us and walked us out to the car and hugged us and made sure we were as comfortable as we could be under the circumstances. We went home and sitting on the sofa reminiscing about Toby when the doorbell rang and it was a flower delivery. To our astonishment we read the card to see that it’s from the team at Beach Pet. We can’t thank them enough for all they did for us when we needed it the most. Thank you all once again for you care, love and compassion. Dr. Johnson they sure don’t make them like you!
