"DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. Cindy Lee and all employees are scammers, crooks and have no morals. After moving into what turned out to be an uninhabitable house, we had the worst experience we have ever had with a rental company. Issues included cockroaches, ant infestation, lying, us calling the police, W/D broken, smoke smell, polyurethane toxic smell, ac units old and filled with mold, non-working internet, dead animal smell in garbage, sooo dirty, sewage backup in the showers, hot water tank not hooked up, broken glass and many many more issues. They take advantage of the lack of housing in the area and provide places only cockroaches should live. It is very unfortunate Norfolk has such slumlords in all areas of the city. I hope they go out of business ASAP. You have been warned."

"I have to give five stars to this reality company… because ALL My needs were met. We stayed in a few different locations while My husband worked the area. Our first stay was literally across from the navy base… so it was quite loud, but the rental itself had beautiful SunSets every day, plenty of space, and a cute little back yard for Me to get My dancing in. As soon as the noise was too much, I reached out and We got relocated to another space that was hidden with some friendly trees right across the street from the Sea. I really enjoyed sitting on the front screen porch listening to the birds every morning. There is a neighbor here that isn’t the best experience… but it reminds You to Be better. Amanda and Brian were always quick to address any and all concerns. From spraying for bugs which, (Hey bugs outnumber humans 2 million to 1) to replacing a TV that wasn’t working and a light fixture… When You rent an air bnb verses a hotel it is going to come with all the neighbors and bugs too.. this is reality folks. I am grateful for Our time with Ocean Reality and would stay longer buuut We finally decided to get Our things from storage and have Our own space here in beautiful Norfolk. Blessings and Love ❤️"

"Rented a property on Ocean view. We had to deal with cockroaches and safety concerns with others on the property. We moved out in October and still have not received our deposit. Keep being told that they will speak with someone at the office."

"Wow wow wow!! I have never experienced such poor customer service on so many levels in my life!! Extreme lack of communication, so incredibly rude, condescending, and full of sarcasm. The level of unprofessionalism went as far as a representative by the name of Cindy Lee screaming and cursing at my wife. This is incredibly sad. My wife and I both tried to call, several times, to reach resolution about a horrible Air B&B we stayed in for less than 24 hours. We had originally booked for 9 days but ended up checking out at 7:30 AM after the first night. All we were looking for was some kind of resolution and we ran into a wall time and time and time again before getting absolutely berated and cursed out by Cindy Lee. This level of disrespect is absolutely disgusting!! To top things off, we still do not have a resolution for our stay. If you are reading this and are debating using Ocean Realty for ANYTHING, Do Not! I repeat DO NOT!!! Go somewhere else. Save yourself some time, money and energy and heartache."

"My wife, 2 kids, and I were looking for a beach house for the summer. We were in contact with Cindy Lee for a rental property and were about to sign a 4 month lease when she rented the home to someone else because they were going to rent for longer (that is what she told me over the phone when I called her out). My wife works for the Navy so we would have gotten a cheaper rate than most. Instead we were stuck in a hotel for the four months while our family was stationed here."
