"In all honesty, our stay here started and ended in unprofessional management. Booked through hopper as a same day arrangement for two nights, I reached out through email to ask if we can receive an earlier check in time. My partner and I are traveling with a cat and while our travel trailer is getting serviced at a camping world, we needed a quick place to stay. In the reply we were told an early check in is not available as the cleaning crew had a tight schedule and someone was checking out at 11am. That was no issue for us and I appreciated the quick response. We arrived at check in time to find that the place had not been cleaned yet. After contacting your company to let them know, we were told at 4:44pm a cleaning crew was enroute and there was only one person coming. I explained in an email that I was rightfully frustrated that we had to wait an extra two hours to use the space. The response “Kindly note that we have made every effort to accommodate your reservation on the same day.” If this company wasn’t prepared to have a same day check in, the space shouldn’t have been listed on hopper allowing me to book it. We were given a late check out time for 12pm to compensate for the incident. The cleaner arrived at 5:15 and stayed until 6:45. We had him skip the sweeping and vacuuming that would have extended his time in the space further. It wasn’t until after he left that we were then able to let our cat out of the carrier and leave to get dinner. Come to our day of check out, where we expected to leave at 12pm thanks to the extension, a cleaning crew arrived early at 11:30. We were not prepared to leave at that time and had to rush everything together to pack up the van while the crew waited in the parking lot. This resulted in dishes unable to be washed and trash not taken out. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of management has left us stressed from start to finish. As a host, it is their responsibility to prepare a space for guest and to provide the service that customers pay for."

"We arrived at our rental at 4:04pm on a Thursday. We used the passcode that was given to us, and were unpleasantly surprised to see that other people were currently renting this unit, and there was clothing and trash everywhere. We had just traveled for three hours with our two-year-old son, and instead of being able to take our suitcases into the rental unit and relax, we had to drive around while this company attempted to find another place for us to stay. When they finally did, they did not provide any photos or description of the new place, but rather just told us a new address, and did not offer any compensation for the inconvenience. When we asked about compensation, they refused stating they were doing enough by providing another rental unit. After going back and forth with them, we decided to just ask for a refund and we then stayed in a hotel. We would not recommend eating valuable vacation time like we did waiting for this company to sort through their mistakes and figure out which rental units are actually available."

"Came to our rental unit #5 at 1121 hillside ave in norfolk, VA on Christmas eve to an uncleaned mess. Took several pictures of everything.Trash over flowing. Sticky floors. Beds unmade. Sand all over the floor. Dishes still left in sink. Water bottles every where. Bathroom gross. Foggy haze smoke in the air. Really smelly. Called the number on the outside of the building and they didn't help. They said they refunded our cleaning fees but haven't seen that. Do not recommend unless you like cleaning other people's mess before you get settled in and like to hear a loud dog barking outside your window that sounds like a dying dinasour all day and night. Don't spend money here."

"Everything one would need at home and more. Very spacious environment friendly. Beach in walking distance and the community is upstanding. Definitely would be a first recommendation to me."

"I did not have a bad experience. The neighborhood wasn't great but there were no issues. Just don't go to the 7/11 late unless you carry. The TV kept turning on by itself. The ac would randomly turn off and on. But it was clean and comfy bed. Didn't have any issues. Will update if anything changes."
