"We have lived here for almost 10 yrs. When we first moved in, it was wonderful. In the last 2 years it has went downhill 100%! The children who gather and "play" are beyond control and bully and batter each other. The office does not do anything about them and act like it's not their problem. Unfortunately some of the office staff's kids are the worst and are the ring leaders to the chaos. If you don't mind kids knocking and running or riding bikes in front of cars and act like your in the wrong while your driving then this is the place for you. It is a beautiful property as far as pool and playground but there is alot that comes along with living here."

"We lived here for almost 3 full years, and it was the best experience. Management and maintenance were always incredibly quick to respond- they use texts to update residents. I almost never heard our neighbors through our walls- and I worked night shift so that’s saying something. The place was kept clean and any issues we had were addressed quickly. Only reason we moved was because we relocated states! Move in here- you won’t regret it."

"My husband and I lived here for 4 years and really enjoyed our stay. Rental prices in SW Roanoke are actually outrageous for the market at most of the apartment complexes, but they were actually fair and competitive, especially for the amenities and space you get. The neighbors are for the most part, courteous. There are the occasional issues with kids playing in the breezeways, on the stairs or in the parking lot, but they send out communications and deal with it swiftly. Office staff even host neat events for residents frequently. Security and Maintenance: I loved that there is a security gaurd on call at all times if you ever needed anything. The maintenance staff are kind and considerate. The response time is also pretty good. I did have some issues with getting things permanently fixed here and there, but nothing big. Moving in: Office staff were pleasant and helpful. They kept us updated the entire time.The place was spotless.. though there was a strong smoke smell at move in. Communication is probably their strong suit. Moving out: Moving out was a smooth process. We were able to just ask permission to use a space for our Upack truck. We were mailed our final bill for the carpet cleaning and no issues whatsoever during the whole process. I would absolutely recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay."

"So happy I decided to move to Windy Hill Key. The process has been easy since the very beginning. The office staff was beyond helpful getting all the paperwork to me that needed to be signed, and everything was done virtually and safe. Had a couple issues that needed the help of maintenance, and they are super fast and incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. It is mostly quiet, which is rare for an apartment complex. Overall has been an awesome experience!"
