Travelodge by Wyndham Roanoke

"Just don't do it. I work night shift so normally sleep through the day, as I am traveling here for work. I woke up to a tickling sensation on my arm, turned the flash on my phone, and there was a bedbug crawling on me. Quickly jumped up to inspect, and found a total of 5 bedbugs on the bed. I was staying in a double bed, so checked the other bed, and found 2 there as well. I quickly showered and gathered my things, and went to front desk to inform them, and was pretty much told "oh well, Call the manager in the morning". Checked out a day early, and no refund (yet). Don't stay here."

"I only gave 1 star because it wouldnt lete posts this if i didnt. Would not recommend staying at this hotel. There was a d*** and balls drew on the wall, the floors were black when I cleaned up a drink I spilt my drink I used a towel to clean it up, I took the towel to the front and they wanted to charge me 50 dollars because the towel was black from the floor but they decided to act like I done wrong and should have called house keeping which I had already called 5 hrs earlier. There were also cockraches in the rooms. I also had to clean gobs of hair out of the shower. Management was extremely rude when I tried to tell them what was going on he just showed me away like it didn't matter. The young lady with glasses was extremely rude and disrespectful."

"Horrible. Disgusting. I cant believe they actually take bookings. Wyndham should be ashamed of this place. I was afraid to stand in the tub as the drain was rusted away. So many dents in the walls, I thought they had cage matches in this room. I cant believe we were actually charged $20 for early check in and it was less than an hour before check in time. The room we were given wasnt made up. So out of that early check in fee, I had to wait 15 mins for the clerk to come back in his car to switch rooms. They have a new policy that you cant stay more than 14 days. I think people had taken permanent residence here. There was so much wrong with this place I will grow old listing them."

"I wish you could give no stars. The property is disgusting. Rooms that are left for weeks not cleaned furniture, mattress, and trash scattered threw out the property. Some rooms need fixing like major fixing. I had to walk around for 45 mins calling and looking for someone to check me in. I was there for 2 days. It was 11:10 the rude women came to the door and we told her we over slept we was booking again she said well it's a late fee of $30. Now I understand hotel policy but for someone to be rude, disrespectful, and do wn right unprofessional was very distasteful. So I checked out. As I'm packing she comes to the door 3 mins later said y'all have to get out of im calling the police I said ma'am I'm going in sorry I over slept and understand your doing your job but I left the door open and as I'm packing my bags I'm putting outside the room so you know I'm going. She came in to strip the room as I had already wrapped up the towels and had trash bagged and out. Little be hold when I got to the other hotel which by the way was ssooooo much better I realized I had left some clothes behind. I called and the gentleman said call back In the morning o asked him several times to take my name and number and items I was missing he wouldn't till I said I just want a log of me calling please so he did or so I thought. We go to book the next night so we could get our belongings before heading back home. And I asked about the clothes the lady said yes they was with the towels I told her I was making a reservation for tonight she said well I haven't cleaned your room yet I told her id clean it myself. She wouldn't do so and I understand that. She said my room wouldn't be ready till after 3 or later.. so I go vacl and sit and wait well as im waiting in the cold change of events the women and the supposedly owner said they didn't have my clothes and then the owner put me on the do not rent said i tore the room up as i told him that was definitely not the case she came in the room with me yesterday and I stripped most of the room and took trash out, look at the camera. She didn't say anything yesterday or today when I called and let her know we was making a new reservation. He told me to leave or he's calling police I kept asking for my belongings they kept giving me the run around till I found a lovely respectful young man that said yes they are they are in the office he got them for me. They refuse to give me my points back and I booked for 2 days.."

"This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had! I used my Wyndham app to make reservations from about 20 minutes away. I've stayed at Wyndham before and expected the same - properties that were inexpensive, not fancy, but clean and comfortable. However, I had questions about this place as I drove into the parking lot to see several men loitering near two parked cars with household belongings strewn about. It appeared they were living in their cars in the parking lot. After a 30 minute check in (mind you, I booked and paid for a room online), I was directed to my room. The room was out back and directly above the men living in their cars. Leary, but too tired to care, I entered the room. The beds looked disheveled with cheap, old, stained bedding that had cigarette burn holes all over them. I couldn't bring myself to sleep here, so I went to the front desk and explained the conditions and asked to be refunded since I wasn't going to stay there. They refused to provide a refund. They showed me another room, but it was all the same. I did not stay there. Nor should anyone."
