I currently live here & the leasing office is incredibly difficult to get in touch with, they will purposely ignore your calls, and they don’t allow anyone in the lobby, so you virtually have no help. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service & place to live."

"This apartment complex is below par. I rented here for only 4 months.The apartment I rented needed a major overhaul. The heating/cooling system did neither effectively. I had a leaky water pipe in the utility closet twice. Repair tech told me it was from a sewage line ! Had wet carpet for a week. You receive cheap appliances as well.my monthly rental fee was exsorbitant. Compare other complexes to these. Know what you are paying for."

"I noticed the reviews on this place and wanted to say a few things. I have been living here for the past 6 months and have not seen a single bug the entire time. The management is friendly and very quick with requests. The apartment was nice and clean when I first moved in. It is obvious to me when viewing the place that they have worked on these issues. It's possible that the other buildings may be in different conditions than mine but this was my experience. It is a good place to live and is in a safe neighborhood. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is because of its location in proximity to downtown. Other than that, if you're looking for a place in Culpeper I would recommend it."

"I give this three stars because the management was nice and willing to help with whatever we needed: the only redeeming factor of living at this place. The low rating is because there’s roaches. Our neighbors are filthy and they don’t seem to care about upkeeping their place when pest control comes, and their annoying kids are always running around screaming, crying, whatever. There’s always noise, even when you’re sleeping at night. If it weren’t for these things, I’d give five stars. Avoid Mountain View Apts if you mind living with roaches bc it’s disgusting honestly. It’s not management’s fault they’re there but it’s the people that’s live next to us that bring them into our home. I would recommend Southridge, their nicer part of the apartment complex."

"This place was the pits! I last lived here in 2010 but had to leave because so many issues with the increases in rent and lousy management. The landlady had an attitude and never wanted to help us renters out. Not only was she rude, but unprofessional to boot. Most of the time, the only way she was reachable was by voicemail, where messages went unanswered. I'm not going to pay $900+ a month for an apartment where the ceiling fan didn't work, the closet doors barely shut, dinged up dishwasher door, lousy stackable washer & dryer, bad parking, the list goes on and on. I still keep in touch with a few of my old neighbors that unfortunately still live there and they say nothing has changed, management is still awful and the apartments are still falling apart. Culpeper renters, you can do much better than this!!"
