"Come for dinner, stay for the night (super cozy, not fancy) and a brilliant breakfast. Karen (owner) and Chef Peter are wonderful. Truly authentic charm in this B&B, lovely scenery BUT THE FOOD!!! "What a great weekend we had here! Accommodations were pristine and Covid 19 safeguards were thoroughly observed. We stayed in the cottage and the bed was comfortable and the living room was cozy. But what makes this inn rate above and beyond the norm are the hosts. Karen was incredibly warm and gracious and took the time to answer our questions and provide great information. Peter’s cooking was beyond excellent!! We opted for dinner and breakfast is provided. We will absolutely return to this gem!"
"We were honored to be the first guests to stay at the lovely Hazel River Inn since the start of the pandemic. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and Karen and Peter were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and hospitable! We ate evey meal at the inn for 2 days and Chef Peter lived up to his reputation. We will definitely be back and look forward to our next visit !"
"This place is amazing!!! Such a quaint and beautiful B&B (ESPECIALLY at Christmas time)! We needed a place to stay in the area for a wedding but decided to extend our stay an extra night to celebrate my husband's birthday. We enjoyed the Chef's Table dinner on our first night and it was fantastic—they even put a birthday candle in the dessert for him! Karen is such a wonderful host and Peter is an amazing chef—together they make your stay so lovely and enjoyable. There's a sign when you walk in that says something to the effect of "show up as strangers, leave as friends," and it's so true! :) If we're ever back in the area, we know where to stay!"
