"After booking my hotel stay I received an email confirmation. However, upon arrival there was no lobby and so no place to check in. There are no hotel employees that work there only restaurant workers that can’t help you with your booking. After almost an hour of making calls to the hotel that no one picked up not even once. The restaurant manager helped get us the code to access our room. When the morning came and we went to grab breakfast we returned to be locked out of the entire building since we never got an outside code. It took calling the police and an hour of standing in the cold for the maintenance manger to let us in. This delay made me late for an event and I can’t even dispute the charge because there’s no one to talk to that works here. Everything is done through email and horribly late. This was a huge inconvenience and not worth the $150 I spent to stay here. I will never stay here again and highly recommend you don’t either."

"This could have been a lovely stay, but when we arrived, someone had clearly been sleeping in there since they last cleaned. The bed was undone and the bathroom was a mess. This is obviously always a problem, but especially in COVID times. We tried calling every number online and in the book to get in contact with someone, but it wasn't until two days later that we heard back via email, only for them to deny what we were telling them. Considering it's just a number padlock, I'm sure it's easy for people to come back after they "check out." Don't risk it."

"The room was large and nicely furnished. I especially like the large bathroom. However, I could not get past the lack of windows. It's a very unsettling feeling to not be able to see outside at all. On top of that, the bed was possibly the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. It was so incredibly hard. To be honest, we were booked for two nights and ended up not staying the second night."

"This review is for the events center not the hotel itself. We rented the Gatsby and Chaplin rooms for a rehearsal dinner and ran into a number of bumps in the road. First, be warned if you sign a contract for the next calendar year - pricing will change. The contract has you approve “minimal price increases” due to market changes but we were almost charged a 50% increase for the buffet dinner. Multiple times the proposal has to be sent back for adjustments in pricing. The original coordinator we worked with left about 2 months before my event and it sounds like the place only knew about my booking when I sent a beer list for their premium beer and wine option and I needed to sign a new proposal. When the original person left she didn’t leave notes in pricing charges for a menu change so I was almost charged an increase again. Not at the fault of the owner taking over but I’m not sure how they didn’t have a record of my booking though my deposit had been taken. The night of we arrived and only 1 of the 6 beers we’d requested for the “premium” beer and wine was available. When I’d asked the difference between the standard and premium before signing a contract and I was advised that premium we had our pick of whatever beer we wanted while standard was your domestics. When we sent our beer list we requested 4 beers from their current beer list (coors light, corona, blue moon, and a south street beer) along with two special requests from starr hill and three notch’d. We were served miller lite, corona, yuengling, and a beer similar to blue moon called UFO white. This was the only craft beer available and they were expired (best by date was 4 months prior). I think someone called this out to the staff because it was removed from the bar in the middle of our time there but no alternate was brought in. There was no notice that we would not be served the beers we’d requested and felt the offering was really more along the lines of a standard beer option. The food was good and the servers working were very sweet. The rooms themselves are absolutely gorgeous but just be sure to double and triple check proposals and read over your contract for price increases if you’re looking to book here. And speak up if something isn’t right - we were so exhausted from the day we were just happy to have food and beer/wine but in hindsight I wish I’d mentioned not having our beer selections there. They were great about addressing issues with the proposal when we were in that process though."

"Great Rooms! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We had a company party here, which turned out wonderful. The food was good, but not wonderful. Overall very happy with the entire experience"
