Clarity Vision- Enochs Eye Care

"I've been a patient for seven years. I called today, January 29th to make an appointment. I was told they had nothing open until June. WHAT?? I called my previous eye doctor, Dr. Pollock, and I'm scheduled for next Tuesday. The only reason I switched was because Enoch has Saturday hours and that's what I needed at the time. My past experience with them has not been bad at all, hence the three stars. However, four months out for an eye exam is ridiculous and unacceptable."

"Everyone is always super nice when I take my age 8, autistic daughter to her appointment. The front desk staff & nurse are always patient with her. Being that I work with children I always feel as thought you should have a little more grace with the little ones. At my recent appt, this was not the case with Dr. Shaffer. Initially our appt was going fine with the nurses exam, my daughter is always nervous because of the eye drops. Soon as the Dr came in the room I told her that my daughter was nervous. The Dr was like “She’s definitely getting drops today.” before even closing the door behind her from walking in. My daughter immediately panic & it was taking some energy to calm her down. Dr. Shaffer tried to complete the eye exam & my daughter was not cooperative. So after just standing there for about 3mins Dr Shaffer suggested we should just go to a pediatric eye Dr. I mentioned to her that my daughter is scared & right now all she needs is patients & reassurance, no matter which eye Dr she goes to she will be scared. That’s when she offered no drops, my daughter completed the eye exam like a trooper. I signed the waiver & we were on our way to get new glasses. Everyone else was great. I said all that to say, patients goes a long way & my daughter will not be seeing Dr Shaffer again. I know that providers have to keep clinic going but to give up on her so easily really rubbed me the wrong way being that she knows her medical condition. I’ve always noticed that she was short with my daughter but this just confirms it."

"Dr. Kimberly Mistiszyn is simply the best. She is a professional, results oriented optometrist with a bedside manner that is par to none! I was scheduled just before Christmas on that Friday at the end of the day. Came in for a physical exam but she diagnosed a really red, blurred vision, bacterial eye infection which I thought was caused from rubbing my eyes too hard. She thoroughly diagnosed the problem, then prescribed medication and gave me what she had in her office to offset any costs I might incur. She then scheduled a call the very next day, Saturday before Christmas, in the event the problem got worse. it grew incrementally better over the next few days. Truly, she worked diligently to get me well during the Christmas holiday. What service and heart she has for her patients! Thank you, Ma’am, for your service to us all! Pray God continues to bless you in everything you do!"

Dr. Enoch is hands down the most knowledgeable, professional, caring optometrist and we highly recommend him and his office! Living in a large military area means lots of turnovers with staff but every single member of Dr. Enoch's staff that we have ever come in contact with has been top notch.
