Montessori School

The Montessori School of Charlottesville, located at 1602 Gordon Avenue in Virginia, United States, is a nurturing environment for children aged 21 months through kindergarten. Our curriculum is based on the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, focusing on fostering personal independence and social responsibility in each individual. Our Toddler classes for the 2023-2024 school year are fully enrolled, but we have limited openings in our 3-6 classrooms at both locations. We are currently welcoming visitors for the 2024-2025 school year, with Toddler Programs already fully enrolled. Our mission is to create a peaceful community where children, staff, and families work together to make a positive difference in the world. Our dedicated teachers and assistants are highly trained and certified Montessori diploma holders, chosen for their love of guiding children in their emotional, social, and intellectual development. We believe in creating a loving environment where children can thrive and become contributing members of the group.
