"Winter sports buyers be warned! As I get into snowboarding, I unfortunately used this store to get new and used gear. Although friendly, I was badly sized with a pair of too large 10.5 boots, resulting in bad snowboarding form I am still trying to undo. This year, I made the mistake of returning, getting a pair of bindings and getting sized with size 9 boots. These boots were painful to use, giving me blisters, and were also defective. Too bad freestyle closed, I would recommend Public Lands to anyone in the market for local winter sports gear."

"It's a great store with tons of equipment. I honestly wasn't expecting such a large variety. Unfortunately the store has a pretty strong oder. It could just be me but last time I visited I had to leave after just a few minutes due to the smell. Its possible something else happened on that day but if it smells like that on a regular basis I'd avoid this location."
